yes, I fully believe zuko would have taken that lightning shot, from Azula in their Agni Kai, for literally anybody. replace Katara with literally anybody, be it Sokka or Toph or even a random stranger, especially an innocent random stranger, and Zuko would have jumped in front of the lightning bolt regardless.

coz it didn't matter who it was that was getting shot, all that mattered was that it wasn't him, that this was an Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula. Agni Kai's are all about honour, and attacking an innocent bystander isn't honourable. And we all fucking know how Zuko feels about honour.
