fun parrot time: corkey enjoys licking juice out of straws... but like. after he’s bit a hole into it.  we tried squeezing the juice into his beak but this proved Most Unenjoyable and was followed by a number of disgruntled head shakes.

Dear Diary,

I am beginning to suspect that my badniks have a mind of their own. Take Corkey for example. This little robot looks like a cork, and has the ability to fly and ram into things. I designed it to be a reliable and efficient machine, but lately it's been acting up.

It all started when I sent Corkey to retrieve some parts from a nearby factory. When it returned, it had brought back a rubber chicken instead of the parts I needed! I was dumbfounded. What use was a rubber chicken to me?

The next day, I sent Corkey on another mission to collect some data from a rival scientist. When it returned, it had somehow obtained a pair of sunglasses and was wearing them proudly. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of a little cork robot sporting sunglasses.

I don't know what to make of this. Is Corkey just malfunctioning, or is it developing a sense of humor? Either way, I might have to keep a closer eye on my badniks from now on.
