i need to just sit inside rip hunter’s brain for a day. was booster a bad dad? does rip see his treatment of corky as okay because he was also isolated as a kid? does he know his own past? would he trust himself with that? does he know what happened to rani? i have so many questions he would never tell me the answers to.

trying to figure out the time masters canon is very hard because clearly some parts of time masters (1990) are canon because of the new history of the dc universe but also corky is very alive? also i thought daniel carter was dan hunter for some reason. too many dans in the carter family

if you’ve only read booster gold and vanishing point, you have no idea how much of a jerk rip hunter is

he is manipulating and isolating a child, didn’t care when that kid died in a now out of continuity comic (although that is the same version of rip that is in booster gold vol 1), and has done a ton of other messed up stuff

he told corky “time masters don’t have friends” like the only thing stopping him from being a total jerk in booster gold vol 2 is that his dad is watching

i think dc should bring back rani just so corky can have a friend. he’s so lonely and it makes me so sad, but rip would totally let him have a friend that was also a time traveller kid.

also michelle should meet corky and rip just so she can yell at rip for isolating poor corky. she’d be so mad can you imagine
