Realized I forgot to share my finished quilt!!

(Here's the post with the progress pics)

This quilt was my grounding force throughout all of 2025. It was a complete labor of love for my best friend who moved away. I worked on it through countless moments of joy, anxiety, and despair. I carried the squares with me on every trip I took this summer and stitched so many happy memories into each and every petal of that big ole flower. I designed the quilting pattern myself and loved learning how to use the business end of my grandma's long-arm machine and watching the way it brought the entire thing to life! This thing is so much a part of me that it feels like my child at this point. Now the chapter has come to an end as it has made its journey home to DC and I'm about to embark on my next quilting endeavor! And who knows... maybe I'll make another one of these for myself 10 years down the line once I've forgotten just how much work it was!

In that case, everything a police officer says comes with an implied death threat. Therefore:

There's no such thing as consenting to a search or a valid confession.

Any sex a police officer has is automatic rape. Any sex a police officer proposes is automatic attempted rape.

A police officer approaching someone and starting a conversation with them is kidnapping.

A police officer asking to enter someone's home is attempted burglary.

You can't have it both ways. You don't get to require compliance with police officers under threat of death while also believing that a consensual interaction with a police officer is possible.

my brother enjoys anime and vocaloid and i bought tickets to ikkicon for his birthday, today is the first day, and im kinda nervous he doesn’t really want to go (autistic and willing to people please for me and like three other people). I’m gonna make sure he knows everything is on his terms and we can stay as little or as long as he wants to. I really hope he enjoys himself, I wanted to give him an experience!
