Ingredients: 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes. 1 cup cornmeal. 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 cup non-dairy milk.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. In a shallow bowl, mix together cornmeal, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour non-dairy milk into another shallow bowl. Dip tofu cubes into the non-dairy milk, then coat evenly with the cornmeal mixture. Place the coated tofu cubes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tofu is crispy and golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!
