Okay, so contagion masks have to be thrown away or sanitized before using again, so making awesome masks isn’t too practical, but you CAN carry them around in a snazzy bag that matches your dress, costume, or coat.  

A corona kit, with spare masks, wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.

If you must go out, go out in style.

How To Sew a Medical Face Mask for a Cancer Patient or COPD patient.

So.... this is a good social distancing craft right now. I’m handsewing mine out of some fabric I originally meant for handkerchiefs.

✂️🖌️🎨I saw this craft project on #Pinterest and thought it was so cute! 1.I used some nearly empty candle jars, poured boiling water and soap into them and let it sit till the wax floated to the top and solidified then removed it. 2. Remove the labels and rinse and dry really well. 3. Taped off a rectangular shape with painter's tape 4. painted the square with chalkboard paint and let it dry overnight 5. Remove the tape and customize your sign with chalk! When I was decorating my bathroom, I had some tester pots. The plan is that this wall will be painted dark blue and covered in book shelves. Friday free-for-all is late because I wanted the tulips to have a chance to open. For the last couple of years, I've been fortunate to go to an art therapy group. It's given me the opportunity to try different mediums that I wouldn't otherwise have the resources to create in. This is one of my earliest pieces, a vase that I wanted to look like bark with flowers growing on it, the petals falling away and decaying. Making the flowers was easy (clay isn't that different from icing) but the glazing process was completely new to me. Like everyone with a sewing machine, I've been making masks for friends and family. Set up my plant table as a sewing station, so it feels a bit like I'm sewing in a wee jungle. When I was doing my research into war knitting, the thing that jumped out at me was the feeling of powerlessness. You're probably as sick of war analogies as I am but, in this instance, I think it's warranted. Women (overwhelmingly) knitted and sewed for the war effort because it was something they could, something that utilised what skills they had.
