Black professionals
You should DEFINITELY bring a vintage tea cup to your corporate job.
this was in literally the back of the store man what the fuck they used to do so much more
me when the companies start to not give a fuck when it comes to rights because the current administration doesn't value queer people but they blame it on employee safety which they have proven time and time again that they don't actually care about it
fuck this and fuck target like they suck ass in so many ways man
Corporate Slavery
Contridictions have piled
atop contridictions.
I want to tear at this foil
with my teeth until
the contents pour out
of the large gash
of my own creation.
Let it all spill.
Leave it on the ground.
Let me make this mess
and don't you dare
clean it up.
I will tear every bit of it
piece by piece
until the people profit
off of their own
blood, sweat, and tears.
I will poke and prod
at the foundation
of this establishment
and pick it apart
piece by piece.
I will not rest
until our people
are free.
Working for you;
committing to picking up
somebody's thirty dollar order.
Driving thirty minutes
for only four dollars.
That capatilism has them cozy,
sitting atop their throne
up high.
Their wealth and power
shielding them
like an invisible barrier.
My rent is overdue.
My car, along with my stomach
is on empty.
My needs are unmet.
Prices are skyrocketing.
The cost of living
is soaring high.
How quickly do you think
they will attempt to silence me
when I shout
that this is slavery?

The Linux Foundation choosing to financially support Blink (Chromium) over Gecko (Firefox) is certainly a choice.
I've criticized a lot of Mozilla's actions in the past as they fight to break even, but if I was the financially struggling backbone of an entire niche desktop platform, and said platform decided to give copious amounts of time and money to my anti-consumer rival (who is very much trying to monopolize me into non-existence) then I'd probably turn into the joker, too. Damn.
Their wealth costs us our health.
So, like, looking for work sucks in general, right? But this new style of never hearing back, ever, is a unique torture.
Like I’ll go on interviews and get told they’ll make a decision in a week, hear nothing. Email them, hear nothing. Go on the workday site to check the application - still in “under consideration” for months until one day it’s just not anymore.
And look, I get it. Everyone’s looking for a job and I committed the unforgivable sin of taking time off to raise humans - I know I’m not on the top of anyone’s list. But don’t be a coward, and have the decency to reject me with your whole damn chest. The world is shit, just give people some fricking closure why don’t you. Shit.
Feeling very much like this right now:
Yeah, so take care out there, folks. It sucks.
