want to write this RightNow but I’m trying to go to sleep and the word puzzle of a drabble writing will be too much stimulation but I want to write a fic where DroidMed stumbles into a droid district and both it and the droids are like this is so fucking awkward rn, but then I think droidmed decides it’s the best district ever

it has to pack its own supplies because the droid bar in this district does not cater to organics but they eventually realise it is a very unique organic who sees itself as a droid to cope with its trauma and they let Droidmed be one of them

the droid district is a blackout district for the most part, because droids don’t need lights when they have sensors, and that only makes it better as far as DroidMed is concerned. great for when it has migraines.

whenever the medbay at 000 gets to be too much droidmed comes to defrag and recharge with its homies and it feels a bit guilty that it has to go outside of vodspace to get that, but it’s had too many of those vod’e’guts all over its hands to be able to relax there. they are its vod’e but they they are also its patients.

the vod’e understand though. they know droidmed only made it through training because of its phenominal skill in saving lives with the ability to regain function and gilamar going balls to the wall to keep it on his track despite its neurodivergence, and it has a lot of glitches going on that it needs to have space and time alone to decompress so that it can be most effective in the medbay, but they are happy it has found some people it can do that with

DroidMed: I’m such a terrible vod that I’d rather spend time with my metal and wire family than my vod’e, they must hate me

vod’e: we will literally burn the senate down for these droids who accepted our vod as one of them. we hate sky-walker but we now can’t kill him because he actively fights for droid rights and is friends with a few of our favourite droids. anyone who threatens that agenda is gonna die

@anstarwar and @purgetrooperfox both introduced their Corrie medics to me and when I also saw @cacodaemonia and @amikoroyaiart’s medics I knew I wanted to do a group drawing with them all! Because Nova and Kio would absolutely be the kind of idiots to get into trouble while on Coruscant and piss off every single one of them XD
