ive really been wanting to watch initial d, it looks pretty funny. How is it for you?

i strongly recommend it! i never thought id be into a cars anime but the story really gets you hooked and all the characters are pretty well developed and distinct in personality! so far im really appreciating it and even the “bad” guys stay after theyve been beaten and dont just disappear into the void. the protag is pretty interesting, he’s not that passionate about cars, ironically and he’s just pretty spaced out and unemotional in general and i like him a lot

you have some really good friendships in there too! like the ones i mentionned earlier, bunta and yuichi, theyre old friends and you see lil scenes with them just chatting late at night and stuff.

takumi (the protag) and itsuki also have a nice friendship, its the classical “calm vs loud” trope but they support each other and they’re really nice!

there’s also iketani and kenji altough they’re more of supporting characters and you see a bit less of them but you can still see theyre best friends

uhh takumi develops a relationship with a girl and so far it’s well thought out, he actually thinks about her every so often and it takes a long time for him to get attached to her which fits with his general personality. the girl is also a great character and she has a good story

i wouldn’t say it’s funny as in comedy? but i guess you could say that a lot of scenes will give you a smile and all

im sure vento aureo will get confirmed. i mean, why animate all those other parts and not part 5? apparently rohan has to get his own little spin off first before vento aureo. but hey, when they do announce p5 it will be great.

it was all a joke, part 1-4 were made for a laugh and now arraki is tired of the joke.
