tada!! it’s been a while since ive written a story!! meant to get this one out many moons ago but 2024 was not my year writing/art wise!! i enjoyed writing these two <3

12 - why do you think they have so many marshmallows in the ship? Joking aside, anything well seasoned will do it for them, cannot stand anything without flavor. I'm gonna be evil about this now actually, this ends up being the opposite for post nova ::) bc if marshmallows are the only thing you eat in a time loop you're probably gonna get sick of them at some point. And as for the seasoned food, for a while it's probably too much flavor for them then. Bland it is ::(

15 - A lot of hand crafting kind of stuff, but the biggest one is mending !!! Making designs while fixing things, and just fixing in general. (ACTUALLY I might change their ref now tbh,,, ::3c) Unfortunately on a whim (see: running into cacti where there's no oxygen) the whole duct tape thing is the best thing to do lmao. This also ties in with their embroidery hobby (/ coping mechanism ? at least later in the loops and post nova.) I think I've mentioned before they embroider the constellations into their scarf during the loops (which of course resets each loop, but doesn't stop them) and a whole lot more after the loops. There's a lot I can go into with the embroidery thing post nova tbh ::3c

26 - said in their info post as well but they've always loved the stars and space, and since the OWV program is no secret, they always thought it would be so cool to be able to do it like the other travellers. Not immune to the Feldspar being the really cool space traveller propaganda either LOL, so they would occasionally get caught trying to pull stunts to be "like Feldspar" to prove they could go into space too (despite being young). At some point learned that it would take proper training to get into the program, which they soon after dedicated themself to doing (assuming there's a minimum age requirement, I don't think they were old enough to start training at first) A big part of it was their own curiosity for what's out there, the fact that there's more than just Timber Hearth. Given that the hatchling works on the translator tool in canon as well I think it's not a stretch either to say that learning about the nomai was also a factor, later on ::)

#i got the sense that merle INVENTED pan and basically created him on some of those worlds #just by like... assuming he was there in the first place #maybe only a few of them but like. the thought of it is staggering

Thank you so much!  We’re a little behind on Fandalite Academy right now (entirely my fault, I’m afraid) but Cates and I have 4 or 5 more episodes awaiting editing that should hopefully be up within the next few weeks.

Fin de partie, or Endgame (originally written in French and translated into English) is a comic and tragic, absurdist, nonsensical play about ego and relationships. I did theatre studies in my first year of University. And of course endgame is also the final stage of the game in chess. I dunno, I was trying to be clever. No one’s ever picked up on it, or at least if they have they probably thought I was a wanker and didn’t say anything. Heh.
