okay so thought time. in six of crows we're given a list of all the animals personas of the girls in the Menagerie and what culture/nation they represent. Suli lynx, Kaelish mare, Ravkan fox, Zemeni fawn, Shu serpent, Fjerdan wolf, and a leopard for the Southern Colonies. but we also get a mention of an ermine and a raven, not linked to any country or people

and I'm just curious as to who they're supposed to represent?? I guess one of them could be representative of Kerch for foreign events like Hringkälla (please correct me if I misspelt that), especially if they don't bring along the girl that represents the nation they're visiting, but then who would the other be?? I can't find any mention of any other nation or people? I have only read the Six of Crows duology and Shadow and Bone trilogy though, so maybe I'm missing something

why the fuck do i lowkey relate to Charlotte from tag, you're dead all of a sudden. like god she starts off annoying but then she mentions how most of her life is fictional and how she slips into daydreams whenever and wherever she wants and I'm like. damn. What. girl me too. there's very often a time where I'm Not In My Head daydreaming and/or one of my OCs is on my mind. I can literally take an exam and still have a small part of my brain be focusing on them. like, sometimes I'm able to switch it off/on at will, sometimes not, very often it's based in fandoms/fanfics I've been reading recently, sometimes I can't choose the topic but I've been like this for years and it's difficult to imagine being any other way. like maybe I don't Literally See Things the way she does but still. Hell, there's even been times where I've slipped up and accidentally internally called myself by my OC's name!

this is the first time verbalising this and it's because of a character I only half like. it feels normal to me because I literally can't imagine not doing it, I've always been a daydreamer, but I know it's probably highly unusual
