Shifting is really that easy

Infinite realities means infinite realities. Things that are normal here would be considered extremely abnormal in other realities. The laws of the world in this reality such as gravity may not even exist in other realities.

Infinite realities means that there are infinite possibilities and everything can exist. In some realities you have a brain in some realities your brain works differently. In other realities you don’t have a brain.

We grew up here in this reality with our perspective being of someone who is born here, which is why it may be hard for a lot of shifters here to wrap their heads around things that may seem abnormal to us, because of how we grew up here.

But you can script anything. There’s no such thing as being unrealistic in the multiverse, you can script that you have wings that can retract in your body in your DR.

You can script that there’s no atmosphere but people can still somehow breathe and that would make sense. You could script that everyone was only happy and you could live only a happy life but still be just as fulfilled without the bad things.

No you don’t need suffering to appreciate the good. No it’s not the norm. No you won’t carry trauma into other realities if you don’t wish. You won’t get trauma if you don’t wish. You can script what you want. Realism doesn’t exist in the multiverse. “Realism” is a concept that operates from this reality and was created FOR this reality.

Therefore it cannot be applied to every single reality in the multiverse. This reality is just one reality of infinite. Just one reality out of the infinite realities in the multiverse. It doesn’t determine anything.

Script what you want no matter how unrealistic it would be called here. Script you have a hundred powers. Script you are a twenty feet tall elf with wings. Script that you are a cosmic entity that can juggle planets if you wish.

You have infinity and eternity ahead of you so don’t spend it limiting yourself.

after almost 2 years of trying literally every method on the menu (including redoing my nighttime routine 40 different ways), i hit a point of cognitive fatigue. i realized i wasn’t failing because i wasn’t doing enough. i was failing because i kept assuming i had to do specific things in order to shift. so i used @hrrtshape’s anti-method (linked here) and let the assumption unravel. i laid down, let my brain spiral, and held a single thought like a match in the dark:

“what if i already shifted and just forgot?”

that was it. not a hypothesis, not a question to test, but just an epistemic interruption. something that bypassed all my intellectual resistance. the shift happened when the assumption collapsed. i stopped treating the dr like a destination and started recognizing it as default. i wasn’t locked out. i was just still playing along with a story that said i was.

and yeah, my brain fought it. it tried to fact-check me back into place. “you're still in your room.” “you're not shifting.” “you're still in your cr.” and that’s fine. it’s supposed to do that. i didn't argue back. i just kept holding that thought that i'd forgotten i'd shifted. once you let go of the narrative, the mind doesn't know how to defend its own limitation.

so if you’re exhausted from trying? good. that’s your entry point. that’s the system cracking. let it. not in defeat, but in relief. the void isn’t something you summon. it’s what’s left when you stop performing.

i didn’t shift by effort. i shifted because i stopped assuming i hadn’t. you’re already in your dr, you have already shifted.

I don’t understand how shifters limit themselves like you can literally be whoever you want look however you want do whatever you want our minds can’t even comprehend the infinity of the universe and I’m not saying you have to think bigger please do whatever you want this is just a reminder that the possibilities are literally ENDLESS

Do you have any things to script for living in a big city (Tokyo, New York City)?

None of the cars or public transportation disturb your sleep, your tranquility stays intact no matter what. The noise from neighbors and the city in general is never that bad.

The public transportation/subways are never dirty or dangerous. They're not known for how bad they are, instead for how well kept they are. Drunk people on trains are not as common.

The streets also aren't dirty and the people a lot more welcoming. You don't get weird stares or people cussing you out randomly.

There are enough jobs for everyone and you never have to struggle in the city with high rent apartments or bad apartments for a lot of money.

Your apartment is actually good quality and doesn't get problems that are ignored.

shifting to me is the crackle of the fire, the heat of it when I sit to close, the half of myself that is facing away feeling the chill of cold seeping through the cracks of my home, the flip of pages from my father sitting in his rocking chair, an act so familiar to him but I need to commit it to memory, and hold it close because I’ve made it.

it’s stones prickling my feet with wiry grass, my hand holding on to who've known me for ages and I, consciously, only a few days but it feels like a lifetime with them. it’s familiar yet it’s not, my feet know the path ahead of me but my eyes do not. they call me by a name that’s only ever played in my head and I know I’ve made it.

it’s cold seeping in and chilling my bones from the lake, fingertips pruning and numb. the laughter that rings both familiar and foreign from my friends, dogs that nose me with kinship that I know deep in my bones. it’s shivering in the grass, tingles running up my spine from sun warming my back, hands fisting sand in my grip, caked beneath my nails is seaweed and dust and I know I’ve made it

you will feel, you will feel so deeply

shifting is supposed to be fun, so protect your heart, make those precautions and feel, the texture of your table, of your clothes, remember that your dr is exactly like that

take a moment, a breath, feel your cr then change that, take away the texture of wherever your sitting and it make it your dr. change the consistency of your clothes, change the scent of the air, change how your heart feels, deep down, feel that you are there and you will be.
