Sleeves cut and fit!
Cut them out sew them together making sure to match your notches and corners! Then pop those babies in your the bodice with all the pins to ease the cap.
Now for fit!
Over all not bad. They don't hang as far down as I wanted.... I can either extend the patten for the real fashion fabric or I could add a border which might be nice. This is the point of a mock up. You get to figure these things gs all out before cutting I to your precious fabric.
Also I set the sleeves quickly. The first had some tucks as you will se below. We don't want that...
We want this second one that came out nice and smooth. When I take it apart. I probably compare the sides and see if there was extra fabric or a miss aligned seam. I also could have not eased it quite as well as the other. In the final it will be more precise.
At this point I am probably not going to mock up the skirt or atleast not yet. I am going to jump to the fashion fabric and work on the smocking g I want to add to the bodice. It won't be nearly as extensive as what is seen on Game of thrones in so. E costumes, but I think it will add a nice detail to what is a very simple costume.
