Old man and the sea...quite a character. No phone, no tv, no internet. He just "thinks about stuff" and enjoys his amazing view of the South Pacific. He said they get many cars during the season in this little picturesque 2 shack village by the sea and no one stops. He wished there were more like us who stopped to take a moment to share some simple conversation and not just snap, snap, snap and be gone. I hope all photographers will understand the importance and rewards of sharing a narrative with your subjects. It makes the world a better place. Oh, and travel in the off season.
