Cottonpatch’s charisma can be felt in waves throughout the Clan. He’s as soft as his name implies, with a very friendly demeanor. Naturally, he always leaned towards becoming helpful in the nursery, but was urged by others to stay a warrior due to an ongoing issue with prey shortage. In a way, he’s grateful this happened, since he met Hawthornetail. The two naturally clicked, and became fast friends. Cottonpatch’s crush on them wasn’t subtle, and he made advances and flirted with the quieter cat. He tried to win their attention with little gifts of prey and trinkets, a tradition the two have kept since getting together. As time passed, Cottonpatch felt his yearning for a family grow, but never pressured his mate. He was content as they were, and was genuinely shocked when Hawthornetail was expecting. He loves their kit Periwinklepaw, but feels a deeper connection with their second litter. With the chance to raise the kits himself, Cottonpatch can finally fill the hole in his heart to raise new life. He doesn’t miss the life of a warrior as much as he thought he would, and puts his energy towards working with other queens to influence a new generation in a positive light. Cottonpatch takes his role very seriously, but it doesn’t stop him from a cheery feeling as he gets to raise his kits.
