Context: Warlow/Ben is a halfling—half-faerie half-vampire (two great enemies so he’s an abomination). In this universe faerie blood is like crack to vampires and they can smell it from miles away. It also temporarily allows them to walk in sunlight without burning. Sookie has a little bit of faerie in her. She found Ben on the side of the road, bit by a vampire and needing help (lies and manipulation). She helped him and realized he was fae like her. Also, she got word that thousands of years ago, one of her ancestors struck a deal with Warlow saying he could have the first born fae female of their family. That’s Sookie. He tricked her for four episodes but my bitch is smart and caught on via details that don’t matter rn. Basically she knows Ben is Warlow and he killed her parents 20 years ago while searching for her, and she knows that he’s here for her. She doesn’t fully understand why tho.

Guess what bitches!!! He wants to get hitched!!! Sookie is his fae-vampire bride (recall, she’s not vampire—he is, so their union is the two)

Anyway, the point is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She’s got a vampire-killing ball of light threatening to burn him and here’s the dialogue—mind you they were about to fuck, though not really because she was just trying to get him in a vulnerable position so she could channel the ball of light. But I mention that because he’s shirtless and hunky.

Unforch, she does remind him he’s a psycho and killed her parents looking for her. But this whole ‘I’ve wandered the earth in misery and solitude waiting for you. dreaming only of you’ thing would work the hell out of me. I think it also goes back to my roots of falling for Jareth the Goblin King in Labyrinth.

Btw, despite her literally threatening to burn him alive (dead? half vampire but immortal being idk), he’s saying all of this with such serious conviction, I’m like shit, he really does love her.
