He’s a computer geek genius yet he shares his dumbness with a shounen anime protagonist. (Headcanon…) Honestly I can see him being one of those devoted extreme Minecraft players/modders suddenly. He’s also the meme king in the family.
least favorite thing about them
He can come off as insensitive at times! (Headcanon.) Realistic flaw, however! And I really shouldn’t blame him because that’s something that he does on accident.

Defosuke and all his siblings
Defosuke and Sayu Yurika I guess… but Defosuke is like, on the aro spectrum to me so I don’t exactly… ship them. I see them as life partners I guess, but not necessarily (fully) romantically… (I also made it a trend to ship each member of the Utane family with either someone with pink hair or blue hair, so they will resemble the bisexual flag!)

Even though he’s an android, he has this… faulty part in him that doesn’t work and essentially makes it so he’s diabetic. So when the Utane family eats rice, Defosuke usually has brown rice instead of white rice, because brown rice is a better recommendation for diabetic people to eat. Defota is the one in the family who cooks, and usually makes small adjustments to Defosuke’s meals that he makes sure tastes just as good, and will also be easier on his body.
That I actually care about him and the rest of Uta’s siblings to this extent!

I really need to make Defosuke sing some solos (and make his VCV voicebank too!) but… I’d say Chaining Intention maybe gives off a “Defosuke” sort of vibe. It’s chill, synthy, and I think would fit his voice.

His backstory in my headcanon/Symphony Saga and his bond with Haku.
Dell and Haku were close half siblings torn apart by their parents’ divorce. Dell had to go with his father, and Haku stayed with her mother. Before the divorce, Dell always used to protect and be kind to Haku.
10 years later, Haku eventually stumbles upon the magical world of Whimsica, and sees Dell again… but not in the way she expects. Dell is evil now. He’s a part of the evil organization on Planet Monochrome that Whimsica is fighting. Haku is torn apart that her kind brother is so cold and hostile now.
But it turns out, Dell’s father, who is also Haku’s father, is evil, and was brainwashing Dell to be like him. Dell never wanted to be evil. But it’s too late now. But Haku’s kindness can purify him. The memories he spent with Haku begin flooding back in his mind and he becomes purified of the brainwashing. He and Haku then team up to fight their dad…

Dell is annoyed at first with Haku’s cat Snowbell. But Snowbell wants to be Dell’s friend, so she draws a bad picture of Dell smiling and shows it to Dell, who responds with “Is this supposed to be me? Well this isn’t me. I don’t smile. Too bad, Snowbell!” This makes Snowbell sad. But eventually it’s revealed that Dell hung the picture up on his wall in his room, because he secretly cares about Snowbell. Dell may talk like an anime villain, but he hides love and tenderness in his heart because he’s too scared to look it in the face.
I like him and he’s sweet. Sure he’s CAN be an asshole but… consider this. What if… Dell was NICE.
