Originally hailing from Middletown, New York The City Never Sleeps is approaching a new era further upstate in Albany. Formerly known as Fourfit, they've opened up for such acts as Paramore, Halifax, Saosin, and Acceptance in the Hudson Valley.
The core trio: John C. Glenn (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Erik Flora (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Curt Mullick (drums, percussion) simmered the project while pursuing their educations... though they did reconnect to perform the occasional gig. They roll deep (the photo to the right is of Curt and Erik)!
Immediately after relocating to Albany to begin post-graduate life, John and Erik began to share their material at Open Mics throughout the abundance of coffee houses in the capital region. They caught the attention of jazz guitarist, Kyle Hatch. He joined the band soon after. Eventually they caught the ear of fellow recently relocated producer & live veteran, David "Wavis" Parker, who coincidentally had been honing in his bass guitar skills (in the past Dave has performed either guitar or keyboards in Mours, Counterfeit Disaster, Weerd Science, Divest... and in the case of Coheed and Cambria he performed both).
The 5 piece is currently in preproduction, writing new material. "Mr. Hide" is the first glimpse we have into the evolution of The City Never Sleeps.
