Counterfeit Maybe
It was too good to be true.
The cynic in me knew it.
I want to give the benefit
of the doubt.
My bank told me the check
from my commission was not approved
due to either insignificant funds
or a counterfeit check.
Maybe I took too long to deposit it.
I immediately try to rationalize
the situation.
Though, I did have issues depositing it
for a few days.
Yesterday I was told it was not approved,
however I signed on the wrong line
so I retired it.
I reached out and asked
them why it wasn't approved
this time.
I am upset and trying
incredibly hard to not be discouraged.
This helped me to build the confidence
to take on more commissions.
I will push through,
learn from my mistakes
and try again.
