Daisho Con presents Three More Bands! Come Check them out!

Sparklefrak

This is Sparklefrak’s second year at Daisho Con and they’re incredibly stoked to be back! They sing happy songs about murder…. and sometimes elephants…. and sometimes Doctor Who. This year, Sparklefrak will debut the song they wrote during their panel last year from YOUR suggestions! It’s a lovely shanty about The Smurfs’ plan for world domination.

CounterGank Countergank is a nerd rock outfit emerging from the depths of Central Wisconsin. Consisting of four League of Legends players (three humans and one bot) these dudes will play songs about Cthulhu, internet memes, video games, and gnomes. You are certain to be entertained by their mix of electronic/pop punk.

VRC6s The VRC6s are a punk band from Stevens Point, WI that play songs about video games. They sport 3 or 4 players, depending on how many controllers they have for each show. Their songs topics range from Moblins marching in the forest to much more impacting issues as Ikari Warriors in love with each other. They are also not afraid to sing about controversial issues such as hogging the armor in GoldenEye or Holy Hand Grenades.

DAISHO ROCK SHOW

Daisho Con is proud to present the Lords of the Trident, Sparklefrak, and Countergank! This year, these three bands will be putting on a show just for you! Never heard of them? Well, let us introduce them! The Lords of the Trident are the most metal band on earth. Bring your strongest armor and your most trusty sword - you're going to need it when this band of mighty immortal warriors takes the stage! Their metal's so pure that only diamonds can scratch it, and usually the diamonds are the ones that end up getting hurt in the end. Their amps are so loud, Manowar knocked on their door and asked them to "please turn down". You think you're bad? While you're watching their sweep picking wondering how they bend space-time to fit all the notes in, they'll punch you right in the face without missing a beat. The LORDS have performed battles all over the United States, and have supported mighty bands such as HELLOWEEN, CAGE, MUSHROOMHEAD, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, SKELETONWITCH, SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, PUDDLE OF MUDD, SALIVA, FUEL, and indie megaband OF MONTREAL. Known for their bombastic stage shows, the band's incredible live performance and technicality have left the mightiest of warriors running in fear for the fire exits. Those fearless few who survive the battle may claim a place in Valhalla. This is a show not to be missed! Sparklefrak, also known as sprklfck, started in October of 2010 - suitable month for a band that sings mostly about horror. In those two and a half years they've played with bands like Downtown Brown, Psychostick, Polkadot Cadaver, and The Protomen. They continue to write songs about horror, our lord Cthulhu, Doctor Who, and Elephants in the hopes that one day they'll record all these songs on an album of some sort. This is their first time playing Daisho Con, and they can't wait to meet you all! Countergank is a nerd rock outfit emerging from the depths of Central Wisconsin.
