We report: the clouds were mountains in the shadows of the sunset tonight. We were walking backwards so as to not miss one bit of the spectacle, which our expert chastised us about. Slightly hypocritical, as they were just as distracted, constantly looking over their shoulder.

So my son told me to paint up the other dinosaur which we got together. Now I have a second Gargantuan Squiggoth.

I call her Big Red.

The triceratops had a lot of cybernetic modifications, but Red was already plenty smashy so I figured she didn't need new gubbins. Instead I worked on giving her a comfy saddle pad and pretty Snakebites colors.

The howdah was made with some foamboard and a collection of popsicle sticks. I added some orky glyphs for flair.

The Supa Kannon is an old Kromlech piece that I can remove and use separately if needed. Her crew are all grots who take very good care of her. Sort of like the relationship between an alcoholic handler and a circus elephant. (cw animal cruelty on that link)

There is one more grot I want to add (a little guy hauling a shell) but I don't know where he has gotten to.

The howdah is magnetized and detachable which should help with transport.

I enjoyed painting the tyrannosaurus part the most. It was fun to do the mouth and eyes, and to play around with all the skin.

Day 13 of a Hermit a day may challenge is Tango of the Tek variety!

For Tango  I did a very simple drawing, because I haven’t had a lot of time these last days, and with Tango I am working In a different fan project coff coff Tango Tek centipede AU  So I feel safe to doing something simple, because believe me I have yet to do a lot with mister Tek.

This Tango is a piece of a conjunct with Zedaph and Impulse.

Mod Luna know what ro was doing, when ro put Team ZIT one after the other.

Btw: Its not blood, its redstone. My team ZIT drawing looks like a murder scene, but its not my fault that REDstone is RED.

When Eileen is in a dozey-idle state of mind she sings in low little 'hmnm's and 'huhmmm's.

Just a little bit of self soothing, she'll gently adjust her clothes (a sleeve, a collar, her choker) primping a little bit.

There's a hazy look in her eyes of soft affection. What nice fabric, what pretty shoes...

Compliments drift from her lips, very quietly, with no explanation.

She most often does this on calm nights as she lingers in her night time routine.

This care extends to others if they're not opposed.

When Jotaro and Eileen are more comfortable, she'll hold his face in her hands, fingers grazing his temples, palm cupping his cheeks with his chin resting in the heels of her palms. She'll just take him in. Mumbles about his soft skin, how pretty he is. He'll lean into her touch, almost melting in her grasp with a soft exhale.

There's a huff of amusement when she mentions his brow bone.

What's so lovely about it?

Just is, she likes all of him. Eileen just likes pointing out features. Showing she can focus on detail. She'd call anything about him lovely, even the way he snores if he sleeps on his back.

Jotaro thinks he'd be embarrassed if Eileen wasn't so...earnest?

Sometimes they're sitting across from each other and he's leaned over in a slouch as she raises her hands up. This typically doesn't last long because of the strain but it's comfort through purposeful discomfort.

Others, Eileen's just mumbling to him while they're in their sleeping bags.

Later on, he just lays his head in her lap and she cradles the back of his head with her hands, just sunk in his hair.

This isn't exclusively a romantic thing either, Eileen just likes to express love.

Ah, intimacy...
