~BASIL X GWEN HEADCANONS~
-Their ship name is Garden Dragon.
-The first time they met was actually at a ball, they didn't really get the chance to talk to each other much. The second time was when their parents had come to talk about their arranged marriage behind closed doors.
-Instead of roses, Basil would send her a bouquet of Dominion Hearth Gladioluses.
-Basil begged 'Uncle' Helia for drawing lessons, so that he could draw Guinevere....the prince is not very good at it, but he tries.
-Gwen is the talker (especially when it comes to history), Basil is the listener.
-Basil isn't the jealous type...however, he will silently hold Gwen closer to him all the while smiling a bit too wide at the interested man.
-Due to having four older sisters, Basil is more comfortable around girls then guys, this brings up insecurities when he enrolls in Red Fountain aka a place of masculinity and ego. He often expresses to Gwen about not being man enough compared to his teammates.
So what exactly is the family dynamic between Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Seelkadoom, etc?
Sonic & Shadow: Husbands, married and might wanna expand their family with some kids. Sonic has been secretly dropping hints that he's ready for kids but Shads doesn't get them. Which causes Sonic's frustration.
Scourge: 2nd husbando of Shadow and sereclty wants Sonic out of the picture to get the Ultimate Husbando-Form for himself. Only Shads do be loyal to Sonic for not drpping him, but the two eventually hook up as well. Sonic is isn't all to happy about this, but has to learn to live with Scourge as much as Scourge has to live with Sonic.
Mayhem: Sonic's youngest brother turned evil. Hangs around alot with Scourge, for being the Green Goobers they are. Treats him like a brother since he misses the family bond he once had. Hates Sonic and will mentally damage him every time he gets the chance. The two never got to speak eye-to-eye and the tention is THICK when they are in the same room. He also cut ties with Sonia. Everything that reminds him of the family that abandoned him, needs to rot and die.
Nazo and Seelkadoom: POWER COUPLE. Looking fresh and one of the most healthiest relationships. People thought they couldn't stand each other for ''I wan to the world and no one can beat me'' attitude, but WHOOPS, look at who's already married, wealthy and happily living out their best lives!
Knuckles & Rouge: BF & GF, although sometimes don't seem to get eye-to-eye, still madly in-love with each other.
Tails: Is like a younger brother to Sonic and will do everything in his power to pretect him, always has his back. Does live with Silver.
Silver and Blaze: Dating, still trying to find the best ways to communicate and have fun. Blaze is more protective over him, but Silver wants to have his confidence. Blaze just needs time to sit back and relax.
Amy & Surge: Married, who would think?! Since Amy has caught the eyes of Surge, she calmed down.... JUST A LITTLE. Amy does know how to manage her anger and always reminds her of the consequences her actions might have.

Inspirations for their dynamic in order:

Who initiates their first kiss: Kohaku. They’re both in their teens and it’s more of a kiss that was meant to be on the cheek but Rin turned her head up to talk to him. Sesshomaru did punch him when he found out but Kohaku didn’t protest (Sango did almost beat Sesshomaru though)
Rin fell first. She’s loved him since they were children. But Kohaku fell harder.
I like the idea that they got married in their twenties and had three children.

ryan x johnny (rynny) headcanons 🌈
- (we probably all know this) ryan is taller than johnny. not by too much but just enough that they can tease each other about it.
- “hey, how’s the weather up/down there?”
- ryan steals johnny’s hoodies and sweatshirts because he likes wearing them from time to time.
johnny: hey, ryan—do you know where all my hoodies went? about six of them have all gone missing in the past week.
ryan: uhhhhh— *remembers the stack of hoodies in his closet* … i, have no idea.
- there’s no real designated “big/little spoon” in their relationship. they usually take turns depending on who needs the comfort.
- johnny is still pretty new to cuddles and hugs and other affectionate gestures.
- ryan helps him through that and is the one who gives him the most cuddles and hugs and little kisses here and there.
- johnny is pretty shy to openly show their relationship in public (not that he’s ashamed, he’s shy about showing that he’s in a relationship itself).
- but ryan insists that it’s alright and is the one to give him cheek kisses from time to time and the first to hold hands (sometimes a peck on the lips).
- of course he checks upon johnny first to see if he’s okay with it.
- when johnny offers a shy smile and a nod of approval that just makes ryan incredibly happy.
- johnny just loves kids. ryan likes them but not as much as johnny does.
- sometimes some kids notice johnny and ryan from “out of this world” and crowd around them, asking for a hug or a picture.
- ryan gets confused and flustered while johnny laughs and even picks some of them up to put them onto his shoulder for a picture.
- ryan loves to notice little adorable details about johnny.
- for example, the fact that johnny’s tongue sticks out of the corner of his mouth when he’s really focusing on something such as writing a new song.
- ryan is scared of thunderstorms.
- whenever there’s a thunderstorm during the night, johnny cuddles ryan in bed and gives him soothing kisses on his ear.
- ryan is surprisingly clumsy at ice skating.
- johnny is amazing at it, so he once took ryan out to the ice rink to teach him as their “first date” after a performance one day.
- the “date” was never really planned out, it was just an impromptu agreement to hang out with each other.

- it was actually where they had their first little kiss in the middle of the empty ice rink.
- surprisingly, johnny kisses ryan first.
- johnny leans in and puts his lips against his, having to stand on a bit of a tiptoe. ryan is surprised, initially, and slightly pulls back.
- johnny, thinking that he didn’t like him back, panics and starts apologizing.
- “oh my god, ryan, i-i’m so sorry—i-i don’t know what came over me, dammit, i’m such a wreck—”
- ryan just grabs johnny and kisses him for a good 4 seconds before pulling back with a smile. johnny is flustered at first but eventually smiles back, and you can see the relief in his eyes.
- once they got more public and open about their relationship, johnny grew less nervous and shy about it.
- then johnny first suggested excitedly that they get matching couple rings—now they both wear a gold ring on their index finger, ryan on his left, johnny on his right.
- so when they hold hands both hands have the rings on it.
- it’s only been half a year since they had been dating, but they sometimes find themselves thinking about what their wedding would be like.
- “wedding dress?” “wedding dress.”
- they both like to have their reading time—usually it’s johnny lying down on ryan’s lap while ryan reads his own book, snuggled in a mess of blankets and cushions.
- whenever johnny sees ryan is feeling down, he makes them two cups of coffee (sugar for ryan) and goes over to him with a tiny smile.
- vice versa, it’s english breakfast tea for johnny from ryan when johnny is feeling upset.
- ryan’s biggest pet peeve is when johnny overworks himself over his performances that he forgets to eat.
- ryan has to physically drag him out of the building to get him to stop practicing and eat something.
- johnny lets out a little groan and rolls his eyes a bit whenever ryan does it, but honestly ryan just finds it more adorable than intimidating.
- sometimes after an exhausting day of performing all day, ryan and johnny just go back to their shared small condo and cuddle up with a horror movie.
- popcorn for these two is a must.
- johnny usually just stares at the movie without much emotion on his face (you can’t really tell how he’s feeling) while ryan yelps or shouts at every jumpscare.

johnny: hMmmm…
- ryan continuously (and at random times) turns to johnny to tell him how cute he is.
- johnny flushes and he gets red and swats at his arm in embarrassment. ryan finds it hilarious and adorable.

johnny: *pout* shut up.
- johnny still get nervous with affectionate touches (ryan isn’t too confident with them either).
- so they both slowly take their time making sure they both feel comfortable with it all.
- johnny’s never dated anyone besides ryan before, so sometimes he becomes a complete nervous wreck when they start getting intimate.
- they both decide to cuddle to calm down and get a chance to breathe, promising each other to take it slow.
- they both like stargazing on the roof at night so they do that together when they need some air.
ryan: *chuckles* what a sky full of stars, huh?
johnny: *stares up at the sky* yeah, it’s amazing. i mean, have you ever seen anything more beautiful?
ryan: *glances at johnny, who’s too entranced to notice, and smiles* i see it everyday.
