sorry for still not being normal about the art but rereading your tags rn and i wanted to let you kmow that when i originally wrote that scene i also had reg burn toast but then realised that doesnt make tooo much sense because you dont really cook toast and it was the cooking that was relevant to me shdgd so you drawing him burning toast first is just very funny to me

heyy can i just say, even though i headcanon courf kinda differently your courfeyyrac design makes me so incredibly happy? like you manage to capture his character so well and he looks so warm and full of happiness and comfort and i just wanna hug him, thank you for your goregous art. (aso also side note here, i absolutely love how you do triumvirate things, hell yeah for all that physical closeness its perfect) youre wonderful and i hope youre having anice day/night/anything in between!! xx

Always excellent to hear, I don’t mind if people headcanon things different I just like to tell stories so if you like the stories I’m happy. Not trying to change all your minds. All the headcanons is what makes this fandom amazing because there is literally no one right way for any character to be.

Courf’s design was to make him opposite but the same as Marius to extreme cool to Marius’s uncool.

Marius is based on 90s boy bands (if you couldn’t tell! :P) Because when he was a kid he thought they were cool and just… can’t… let… go…

Courf is based on k-pop boy bands, because he figures if he has to be tiny, petitie and asian he might as well rock the look. Also cos many girls like kpop… so… “hey you ever wanted to date someone who looks like your favourite kpop stars but isn’t all the way over in korea?!? You’re looking at him!”

Yes he can do many of the dances.

I also like to think he gets underestimated a lot because the other two show their inteligence more obviously by being stotic and studious so people assume he knows fuck all and then he’ll say something epic and be like “yeah guys I go to law school too yaknow! I might have blue hair right now but that doesn’t mean my brain leaked out!”

And thanks, I have had a good evening so far, I had derby training so now I’m all sweaty and gross, but happy :P

I am faithfully reading 4 wips that I think deserve all the kudos. Please go read them and leave them comments because these authors deserve love and encouragement.

I know many people don’t read wips, heck it’s not that long ago that I didn’t. But now, I prefer wips! I’d much rather read a wip in small updates now than a full fic. There’s something really unique about reading along as a fic is published in real time. I thought I might forget what had already happened but that hasn’t been a problem at all.

Ritardando by courfee - I run when I get this notification. Jegulus fake dating. James is struggling with panic attacks and anxiety, and I really love seeing this side of him where he’s not the always happy and cheerful guy. This is actually the perfect characterizations of both James and Regulus. When I imagine them, this is the version I see now. Excellent writing and consistent updates.

not cute by radla - to be fair I beta this dorlene fic, but honestly it’s mostly so I get early access to this absolute masterpiece. This is one of my favorite fics ever. It’s MY version of Marlene McKinnon now. She’s Polish and you really get a peek at how that cultural background influences her. The writing is top tier. This is the best platonic BlackKinnon I’ve ever read, and their relationship is my favorite part. So often, Marlene is a background character I don’t pay much attention to, but this fic shows she has main character energy, and she’s strong and interesting enough to pull you in and hold on to you.

Lily Evans’ Guide to Dissent, Delusion, and Disastrous Men by darkdawn01 - I don’t know man, this one just has me in a complete chokehold. I don’t even like Lily most of the time (👀 she’s always butting her nose into my Wolfstar babies business!), but this Lily? This Lily I am in love with. This is Bartylily, and I love every single word written. This fic is hilarious and their banter is absolutely perfect. I think I’ve reread what’s out 3x waiting for new updates.

Shooting stars, falling objects by Nyx_21. A rare pair (prongsfoot!) which I adore. Consistent updates, great writing, and I love the romance between them. Their chemistry is chef’s kiss (not easy to pull off for such a typical platonic couple!).

Ok and then a bonus - here’s one on my list to read that was highly recommended but that I need to start!
