Me: im bored, I think I will go to my local queer bookstore and wander around for a bit, this surely will not do bad things to my bank account
#i kept my total price under $30. it could be much worse last time i went here i spent twice as much#wanted to get some more murderbot books but they’re SO expensive and something about the 200 page length + the like… nearly thirty dollar#cost makes me Really hesitant to buy them. i could have bought one and spent about the same amount. but that would have been for one book#not two#and they didn’t even have the one i want to buy (all systems red)#i want to collect all of them eventually but that’s the one that’s the most urgent bc i’m scared it’s gonna get the dreaded tv adaptation#cover redesign#and the last thing i want is a murderbot book with alexander scarrasgaatds or whatever’s face on it
