The Nouda/Makepeace debacle has inspired me to try some body horror. The way Stroud writes the final few chapters, it seems like Nouda is most likely just a big eldritch mess, but I like to imagine that Makepeace’s skin is still stretched taut over the beast in a grotesque parody of the chipper playwright.

I especially loved how Makepeace’s mouth was noted to have split all the way up the sides; it seemed a fitting deformity for that grinning scamp

making a few low key characters bc i wanna do more drawings of stuff in rdr2 that i like but i dont wanna just draw the same two characters over and over again for some of them so i did a few of people who would be in bushrod’s family.... the bulrushes!!!!!!!

makepeace and hoss are her siblings, chauncey is their cousin and amberjill is their aunt

anyway this was fun even tho i dont intend to do too much with them, making characters is just neat

Nathaniel looked at the casting list for his Drama 101 class and immediately regretted having ever signed up for this class as a favor to his father’s friend.

Kitty, the person who was apparently to be his love interest in this awful play, met his eyes with a look of red-faced horror that Nathaniel was sure was also on his face.

From across the room, Professor Makepeace gave him an encouraging wink.
