Now I’m just picturing Kafka playing keep away with her cubs. Even though you’re the second parent, Kafka likes to mess with you by snatching up the cubs and running off with them when you need them. She plays the “fun mom” card, and the babies love it because Kafka is the one taking them away from checkups, baths, etc. You know, the boring things that all fussy babies dislike.
“Awe, but the babies aren’t tired yet, baby. Can’t they play a little longer?” Kafka purrs, trying to convince you to let them stay. “I’ll put them to bed myself, how about that.”
Your brows furrow because Kafka isn’t exactly the best parent for put downs, but you give her the benefit of the doubt. One hour later it’s past the cubs’ bedtime and they’re swinging around on tire swings with their mama. You will have to call Himeko over to tackle Kafka down while you snatch the babies for their rest.
