Covestro launched its largest energy efficiency project installing a new compressor at Dormagen
Covestro has launched its largest energy efficiency project to date at its Dormagen site in Germany.
The project involves installing a new steam compressor.
It will reduce the company’s energy consumption in Germany by two percent per year compared to 2025.
The investment is in the low double-digit million-euro range.
It will save more than 40,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
