I have a question, why are J, Nori, and Uzi’s plating not the normal creamy off-white sometimes? It’s a cool design but it’s seemingly random when it occurs which is what’s confusing me.
I have both a short & long answer; to summarize it, it is purely from hc stuff plus I based [updated rlly] those three [soon to be Khan as well, maybe other characters] off of these robot toys I had growing up.
thought it'd be cute if the drones could vary in plate colors hence why in this? au(?) thingy in my head .. I rlly try to add more differentiation in the drones :3
it's a more sudden change so I'm not surprised if people are confused on why they have differed over the year [in my art specifically.] so I also took the opportunity to [try to at least] explain why I do it, which as said is basically from headcanon territory .. & also mostly bc I like to play with designs of characters until I feel like they are distinct enough. maybe show a take nobody else rlly has idk lol
