O CPH:DOX, festival dinamarquês conhecido pelo seu vanguardismo no género documental, atribuiu ontem o prémio principal a The Look Of Silence, obra de Joshua Oppenheimer.
Vencedor em 2012 com Act Of Killing, o norte-americano volta a ganhar com um documentário sequencial, cercando a mesma ordem de acontecimentos, desta vez confrontando os sobreviventes do holocausto durante a época comunista da Indonésia com o assassino de um dos membros da família durante esse mesmo período. O trabalho do realizador fez já este ano merecer-lhe o reconhecimento de génio pela Fundação MacArthur (ver notícia). The Look Of Silence é um dos 20 filmes do nosso guia para final de ano (ver guia).
Na cerimónia foram também consagrados o prémio Nordic: Dox Award (prémio atribuído ao Melhor Documentário Nórdico) a Olmo & the Seagull de Lea Glob e Petra Costa, The Dent com o prémio New: Vision, E-Team com o prémio F:Act e Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story com o prémio Audiência Política.
