That sounds sick. Tell me abt the au NOWWWWW /silly

Especially Virgil, which is totally not jsut bc I love Virgil.

So the basic idea is the Sides are members of the Z-Team with Thomas as their dispatcher. No real plot yet, mostly just character ideas.

Since you asked so nicely, I’ll start with Virgil (alias: Anxiety). He’s the youngest of the group (early-mid 20s) with the power to shadow travel, creat shadow constructs (daggers, clubs, bindings, etc), and cause minor hallucinations. The caveat to this being that his powers only work in low enough light levels, shine a spotlight on him and it all stops working. I imagine his list of crimes consist mostly: theft, burglary, assault, and property damage charges. Also if anyone ends up as an Invisagal-style ex-Red Ring member, it’s probably gonna be him.

Logan (alias: Logos) is in his mid 30s and has electrokinetic powers that fluctuates in strength based on his emotions(real great for someone as emotionally constipated as him /s). His power can range from as little as a static shock, up to the equivalent of a small lightning storm. Before joining SDN he worked with Patton as a dynamic duo, committing crimes as a means to take powerful people down a peg (along the line of the tv show Leverage). Unfortunately crimes against powerful assholes are still crimes. His crimes in particular are: extortion, forgery, fraud, third degree murder, blackmail, cyberstalking, and cyberbullying. He’s not opposed to doing the whole hero thing, he just believes that it’s more efficient to bring about justice in the less legal way.

Patton (alias: Pathos, to match with Logan) is the oldest of the group (late 30s/early 40s) and his power is to turn into a giant frog monster (working similarly to Sonar’s ability). He and Logan have known each other since childhood, which is what led to them working together before SDN. His crimes include: aiding and abetting, destruction of property, assault, kidnapping, and (accidental) arson. Patton is one of the few on the team putting in a genuine effort in improving himself and trying to be a good hero.

Janus (alias: Deceit) has the power of shape shifting, the only tell being his inability to change his left eye. No one knows his real age, name, or maybe even his real face. For all they know the one he wears to work is as real as any other he wears. The crimes he’s been caught for are: larceny, identity theft, second degree murder, and tax evasion. His true priorities are unknown, but he seems genuine enough about the whole hero thing.

Roman (alias: Prince Amor) is in his mid-late 20s and the twin brother of Remus, however neither worked together as villains and often even worked against one another. The exact nature of his power will depend on the results of this poll, but I want it to be some kind of emotion manipulation. Using it to feed his ego with false admiration and to manipulate people into letting him get away with his crimes. The greatest weakness of his power is that emotion ≠ action and anyone who questions their new emotions can realize the artificiality of them and fight back (Logan is particularly good at this). His crimes include: DUI, robbery, arson, and assault. He is all for becoming a hero, totally because he wants to help people and not just because he wants the fame and recognition.

Remus (alias: Remus) is in his mid-late 20s and the twin brother of Roman, almost no one actually knows this however (Roman wears a mask and Remus is committed to the bit), the only ones who do are Janus (his best friend) and Thomas (the only one with access to both of their files). His powers are still up in the air of course, just know he uses them to cause as much chaos as possible. His crimes are: arson, vandalism, public indecency, public intoxication, DUI, drug possession, aggravated assault, stalking, and first degree murder. Is he all that committed to turning over a new leaf? Not really. Is he having fun? Absolutely.

Thomas I’m not sure on yet. Maybe he’s Mecha Man, maybe he’s his own hero, maybe he’s just some guy SDN pulled off the street. All I know is he’s not being paid enough for this shit.

Did someone say Date Everything X Pokémon AU?

So the idea for this is that Eddie and Volt run the Electric Gym out of the Breaker Box, fighting challengers in a double battle Tate & Liza-style. But they also have their own personal teams that they occasionally use to battle outside of their jobs as Gym Leaders. The idea of them having a Ninjask and Shedinja is stolen straight from @thecatchat (their Eddie and Volt Pokémon teams if you’re interested)

They are human in this AU, however while they’re on the clock doing their jobs as Gym Leaders they decided (read: Volt decided) that they should dress the part

Gym battles are done as performances on a designated stage in the middle of the club, think like Larry’s Gym but the stage is always there and the battles are scheduled ahead of time

The Breaker Box was not always a Gym, originally it was a regular club run by Eddie, with Volt being the one to come to him with the proposition of turning it into a Gym

I like to think they have known each other for a very long time, having been childhood friends

While in the current day they are in a committed relationship, it was not always like that (the general timeline being: childhood friends -> friendly rivals -> distant friends -> business partners -> lovers)

The realization of feelings was not even remotely symmetrical as while Volt is fairly in tune with his emotions, Eddie is… very much not
