These crackers are tasty and spicy, and they really pack a flavor punch. A spicy and cheesy kick comes from the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and jalapeo peppers that are mixed together. Great for a snack or to serve at a party!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed. 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeo peppers. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 cup cold water.
Instructions: In a food processor, combine the all-purpose flour, cold cubed butter, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped jalapeo peppers, salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Pulse the ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. While pulsing, gradually add the cold water until the dough comes together. Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a disk. Wrap the dough disks in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out one of the dough disks on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out your desired shapes from the dough. Place the cut crackers onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy. Repeat the rolling and baking process with the second dough disk. Allow the crackers to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container. Enjoy your spicy crackers as a snack or appetizer!
