Tertiary Minicomics
Once again! I’m back on my SHITE The previous one is [here], you can find the others in a bit of a link chain, and some angst asks once again which I’ll put riiight >[here]
The publication would like to offer the following corrections:
I forgot. I bloody forgot; I realised immediately upon posting and I shall take your reasoning like a dying man in the desert. I work pretty fast, and my organisation is diabolical, I’m always missing a hidden layer or texture- bloody straight up misspelled ‘Disappointed’ once.
This will probably be the last lot I’ll do for a while, I’ve got a couple of longer things I’d like to get to, and although these are fun, I don’t wanna get too distracted by them Thanks so much for all the asks tho! These really have been a blast! I’ll try to keep answering but they’ll likely be more text format, if I’ve a particular idea for a comic, I may save it, but it may be a li’l while
@crackinwise Taka believes in Bold Simplicity. Mondo and Daiya end up usin’ Taka as a weaponised, unwitting middle man in an increasingly elaborate prank/revenge war between the two. Eventually Takemichi rats them out and Taka grounds them both. Daiya isn’t quite sure how he managed that.
referencing [this] This isn’t the first time: Taka has his own file at the precinct. He often brings in petty criminals and public nuisances for a formal warning, occasionally, he’ll intervene in a more serious situation and will step in to detain the perpetrator so they don’t escape before the police come. The criminal then severely underestimates this mouthy teenager’s strength and makes the mistake of trying to force a joint lock, leaving them in pain, and Taka distraught that he’s ‘taken the law into his own hands’
I hadn’t actually heard of this one; at one point I DID think that that was gonna be the twist of V3, that the kids were all related in some way to those from the first 2 games. I can see the appeal, though honestly Kaito? He gives me more Hiro vibes personally, rather than Taka or Mondo. . . Maki’s got that genetic Ishimaru resting btch face, but I suppose more people pair her with Peko and Fuyuhiko maybe? Definitely fun to play with!
I see you bein’ cheeky and I flip down reverse it into wholesome character development. This was unintentional.
Someone will die . . . of Fun! Takaaki stopped wearing his jacket when he interacts with the Oowada boys. Taka thinks it’s strange since he usually tries consciously to not have his service weapon on show. It happened shortly after Takaaki hung the laundry out to dry one day. . . What an odd coincidence.
(lord save me from the shirt XD. Lord save Mondo from it)
(edit: as for Takaaki’s reaction to “the Shirt”; you can now see it [here] 👀)
@crackinwise on this post
I agree this dialogue comes off as kinda demeaning and rude. But I don't think it's this specific title that's causing that here- it's that she's using a title period and is verbally excluding Billy from the conversation. Like she can't even deign to use his name or reply to him, simply skipping over him to only reply to Teddy. I think it'd come across equally demeaning here no what what the exact title is
I like Lauri-Ell a lot so I keep trying to make up Watsonian reasons to explain away why it's not meant to be rude (and I don't think it makes sense with what's been established about her character so far for her to be fine with accidentally demeaning anyone let alone Billy), but on a Dolyist level I'll have to look back at her other appearances and see how this speaking pattern of using titles instead of names comes off in other writer's hands in order to pin down exactly what runs me the wrong way about it
Where do people get that Jack is mentally a child or (slightly moving goalposts after you brought up all the things he can do) "about 15"? He's physically 30 & absorbed all his mom's knowledge. He acted like a fanon!comedic!Cas at first, and Cas is millions of years old. Naivety of social cues ≠ child. AND if he IS mentally a child, that child is now god of everything! They're ok with that?? Gross.
I don’t get this logic either. He’s a child but he should be allowed to hunt with TFW and drive a car and at the same time he can’t be held responsible for his actions because he’s too young. Alright then.
Quick question about Tenkuu Shinpan ships since i spoiled myself anyway: Why is Rika/Juo one? According to wikis he murders women, put the mask on Sniper, eventually wants to battle Rika to the death and takes his family & friends hostage. Is it just one of those weird enemy ships or is there another twist?
its best if you ask @elmaxlys since theyre the pioneer of that ship, im pretty neutral on it so idk if i could explain properly addsfoi
edit: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I MEANT TO ANSER THIS PRIVATELY HELP
edit again: wow i didnt even notice until choco and elmax pointed it out but where the hell did the wiki get “murders women (only??) and put the mask on sniper” aoifdsfoigdfbhvds
Ignore me if you've seen these animes, but recently i've watched Noragami, Food Wars, Dr. Stone, and Toilet Bound Hanako-kun. And for a little older, i always recommend Soul Eater cuz i actually like that anime ending but it's okay if you don't/didn't. Cya!
I love Noragami and Hanako-kun. Both very fun!
I’ve been considering Soul eater because a friend of mine is obsessed with me.
I only watched the first few episodes of Food wars and Dr. Stone and never finished them. I don’t know if they get better or if they just aren’t for me?
crackinwise replied to your post: Okay so this episode just made Gary saying...
i just realized he probably learned to steal to survive oops
eyup
inadvertedly becoming a criminal, just like his mom
Is it explained who had Aziraphale's sword in modern times for it to be delivered to War, and if his sword was needed for War and heaven knew the Horsemen had already been dispatched WHY did they keep asking Az about it?
I don’t think anyone brings it up again in the book. I didn’t even pick up on the fact that it was supposed to be the same sword until someone else pointed it out. I just thought Aziraphale could make any sword he held burst out in flames.
