Skeined the two 3ply skeins! (Leftover singles will be either chain plyed or a 2ply, TBC). These need a wash, and then they are ready for gifting, I'm so giddy.

In the end I got:

1) 94gm, 540m prewash

2)124gm, 600m prewash

So my tension/spinning style did change throughout the singles and it did have an impact on the finished weight, but the criteria I needed for this project is high silk quantity and minimum 150gm. So I'm chuffed :D

I'll calculate actual silk/wool ratio when I've finished the remaining singles - I didn't weight the silk beforehand whoops XD

I don't know if you could tell from the everything about me, but I don't get embarrassed very easily. Also, I have a terrible memory. So this question is always obnoxiously difficult for me. Most recently I had to get bl**d dr*wn and I almost passed out. Because I am a quivering pussy. And the nurse called over the loudspeaker for someone to come to the lab to watch me. And then when I started to feel a little better I just started laughing because typical me to pass out at the slightest discomfort. And the middle aged nurse lady tasked with supervising me was visibly nervous. And then she walked me out to the front door. Luckily, it was five fifteen fucking pee em, and they were technically closed, and everyone was gone. So at least there was no one to see me get escorted out.

hurricane: describe a strange habit of yours.

idk man im pretty normal. this isn't a habit but I cannot wear socks unless I have shoes on or im dancing or something. socks are death

rain: if it were possible, what exotic animal would you keep as a pet?

a fox. a badger. something fun and cuddly that will also run around with me. a fox would go on creek trips with me. a beaver! a beaver would be so fun. I keep seeing a pair of them at the creek. what else. oh an owl would be out of this world fantastic. a barn owl, specifically. i love their little heart faces.

azure: what is something that you do that makes you happy?

dance. i love dancing. anywhere and everywhere. sometimes dancing in my kitchen is just as good as performing on stage with my team. plus, given the circumstances, i will take what i can get.
