I'm almost done with the Cheshire Bag

Naturally, i have a few things i don't really like about it, but it's my first ever bag, and it's almost done, so not really complaining.

Now i'm thinking about making another one with the corrections in mind, but i can't really decide on a color scheme... i will have to stick with the yarn i already have, plus maybe come up with a way to make it waterproof. Maybe. I don't know. Color first.

Maybe i'll add some pins to this one though, i was thinking about the grin of the cat. 😁

Been struggling to come up with a shape for the small additional bag for my Batbag, and then came across the best idea ever; now i'm tearing apart of plushies to make a small robin suit to go with the Batbag. 😁

First try. Sashiko (“i” is silent) is trickier than I thought. Its simplicity belies its complexity, and the amount of focus and discipline required to stitch the patterns while following the rules. Right side stitches are about twice longer than the wrong side ones. Stitches should never overlap. Finished altar tiles for Beltane! The big one is the mother piece and each person gets a small piece cut from the same tree so they share a source. This was really my first foray into wood working beyond building internal structures for larger pieces. My Dad is a gifted woodworker so maybe the apple doesn’t fall that far from the tree! Slowly working my way through sanding the pieces. Very meditative smoothing these down. They make this incredible sound when you stack them and they clack together.
