Many people tend to throw away or forget about the not so perfect craft they attempted, I framed mine. I will tell you why! You can see an actual growth when you look at something I finished about 14 years ago and something I finished last year. (Current cross stitch is not finished yet!) I still love “Young Lady With Green Gloves” (original artist Tamara de Lempicka,1930) and it hangs in my front hall but I know it’s not the best work, the mounting job in itself is a reason to redo it. Right now it hangs someplace that allows me to see it everyday, to show me how far I have come. The sunflowers in a witches boot uses more advanced stitching, you can see how much nicer it is mounted and since I have grown to use the scroll loom there are less marks on the fabric!
