'The camp AU' yapping p.1 Read the Warns!

Timeline: before book7 but at least a year after book 4
Somethings that you may want to know: Halt is gay and in a relationship with Crowley, Will and Horace are also together but it won't matter, Halt drinks coffee that tastes like war and smells like regret (it actually got from a fic I read a long time ago (will try to tag it but i'm not sure if I would find it) Pls if anyone knows the fic link it in the comments or something), Halt and Crowley are very dirty minded
It all begun when Halt and Will received a letter...
When Halt saw the paper his face turned pale, his eyes looked like there was a war anoucement in Will's perspective and unfortunatly Will was right.
His mentor quickly explained to him that they are going to "Beat the Scotts and come back home" but Will knew what war is... He knew that many will die and be injured for the rest of their's lifes....
They were preparing you know collecting arrows sharping knifes... boring things that not many autors would try to write about (exept the Polish school lectures ones).
When the main two got to the Araluen's military camp (I can't write in english XD) they begun planing and training. Until one night (around a week since they got there) they were usually drinking coffee together but Halt ran out of the good coffee so he used the one that... well didn't tasted good.
Will, his mentor and the comendant were sitting together in silence and two of them were thinking "how to gently say to Halt that the coffee is terrible and none one exept him is enjoying it" but neither Wiłl or Crowley wanted to hurt Halt's feelings. And after half an hour of thinking the apprentice got up and simply said:
"Can I go train a little?" His mentor's exprection was telling more than words ever could but putting it simply "Go and come back to your tent before 3 am. NO EXEPTION."
And about a minute later:
"Why don't we just go to our tent?" Halt sugested Crowley was trully suprissed because Halt was the type of guy to sit near the fire until 5am and then bitch about that 'he didn't got enought sleep'
Well they agreed without a word. At the tent they were doing some stuff like paper work (until they thought fuck it and lets try to fuck eachother(both sides sucessied))
But around 4am they heard something, quickly got dressed and realized who it was. The Scotts wanted to kill them asleep.
They got the alarm(idk maybe screaming kind go wild with your imagination) and defanded things. None died but many got injured and most importantly Halt got injured too (but ofcorse he didn't told anyone by the time some changes could be done)...
