EXTINCT EPCOT PAVILION SKETCH series. 

With Epcot currently changing from its 1980s roots, I felt like going down and sketching some of the pavilions that still existed in some form (Wonders of Life, Universe of Energy) and others that were completely gone using old photos (World of Motion, Horizons). It was nice and calming, sitting outside Wonders of Life-which had long lost its sign and DNA spiral-and reminiscing about being inside that building during its heyday. Universe of Energy was behind walls, getting ready for its Guardians of the Galaxy remake. While I usually sketch cartoons and colorful characters, I really enjoyed delving into basic illustration techniques and putting an emphasis on greenery and landscape.
