These salmon sliders are a delightful twist on traditional burgers, featuring tender salmon patties flavored with green onions and lemon juice. The tangy avocado sauce adds a creamy and refreshing touch to each bite, making these sliders perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1 egg. 2 green onions, finely chopped. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 ripe avocado. 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro. Slider buns. Lettuce leaves, for serving. Tomato slices, for serving.
Instructions: Pulse the salmon in a food processor until it is very small pieces. Add the egg, green onions, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the salmon after putting it in a bowl. Little patties should be made from the mixture. Set the salmon patties in a pan over medium-low heat. Cook them for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked. While that is going on, make the avocado sauce by mixing the Greek yogurt, garlic, cilantro, avocado, and lime juice until the sauce is smooth. Add pepper and salt to taste. Warm up the slider buns. In order to make the sliders, put lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each bun, then a salmon patty, a tomato slice, and a dollop of avocado sauce. Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away.
