I realized that with my creature post, I didn't have anything to show scale for most of the critters.

So let’s have our protagonist: Katrina be our scale model.

Here she is. Now let’s see the critters of Kāertrə next to her.

That’s a big fish.

Griffins are pretty much lion sized. If that lion has awesome eagle wings.

A bat bigger than a person is kinda scary, no?

Sea Darts are pretty long. Slimy no doubt, too.

Shabarks are huge. Thankfully, they’re harmless.

This creature is also big, but also harmful.

And the peaceful Usher is the biggest.

Ohh yea there's actually a crag martin (?) (acc to google images and a classmates confirmation) nest in my college!

Not a very clear picture of the bird tho, I'll try if I can get a better one on Monday!

Why do I suddenly love the creatures here?

I mean, the better question is how could you not love the creatures? They're cute little bundles of silliness!

I've actually gotten so addicted to needle felting them that I ended up staying up until 3AM a few nights in a row making the little guys. The only reason I stopped staying up so late is just that I ran out of the wool I use to make their cores and I can't get more until Wednesday.

There's also just something so oddly fun about taking pictures of them in different situations or coming up with silly situations for them to be in, almost as if I'm world's most confused pet owner.
