I’d been working on a re-read of Hunters Unlucky, and the following books, and had been taking the time that I could to fully sketch out ideas… fell off a bit (a lot) around the middle of Arcove’s Bright Side, but I’m really happy with the shapes and the vibes.
Quint heard about the baby coming up so he hand knit crecia a sleek and elegant blue swester, the baby a yellow and blue cardigan with baby birds on it, and soup ( @commander-soup ) requested the sweater be yellow with a big moa on it.
A compilation of all the animations I did for the "Bangar Confrontation" cinematic in Guild Wars 2: Living World, Season 5, Prologue.
Getting solid expressions and lip-sync with our Charr faces was a fun challenge to tackle, and I re-learned the value of making something “feel” right rather than “be” right. All in all, I had a great time working on this cutscene and look forward to working with these characters for the rest of Icebrood Saga!
00:09 - There were a lot of emotions that needed to be conveyed with Crecia here - first, a bit of disdain at the immature conduct of her former lover and current boss; second, some nervousness/apprehension about how her life would change if Rytlock really did murder Bangar and become Imperator; and finally, a sort of dismissive, "Don't look at me for help" at Rytlock's glance over at her. Quite a few emotions to get across in just a second or two!
