LEXI KILLS

“THERE’S GHOSTS WE TALK ABOUT, AND.. GHOSTS WE DON’T.”

The Grim Reapers come to collect your debt. The Grim Reapers come to collect everything, really. From bones to tears, from souls to fears. Everything finds its way back to the Earth is what people like to say, but to the living? To the living, who finally met their ends, and stayed dead, everything finds its way back to him. Naturally, people whisper bad things about him. Misery, despair, bad luck, of course- death. Nobody really associates him with anything more than the end of the line. The Grim Reaper doesn’t care. Doesn’t slow down to hear the chit-chat, doesn’t bother responding to the rumors. He could. He’s an ethereal being, he’s completely capable. But he’s above that. As vile, and dirty, and un-steady as people want him to be or he may actually be, he’s better than that. So is Lexi, isn’t she?

A pebble tumbled in front of the entrance to a grave yard, The Wind nudging it just a bit closer to enter. Of course, as stubborn as the Earth is, the pebble stayed. Lexi, did not. The blonde stared at the ground with mild interest before putting one foot into the other, entering the marked territory. She didn’t have much of a reason, no doubt. Didn’t have a reason when she first came here. But alas, there’s comfort zones that are certainly peculiar to most. Certainly, it’s fitting for a peculiar, rotten girl.

It clears her mind and lets her forget about all troubles at hand, The Operator included. Here, the afterlife protects her. Lexi does not need to explain that to anyone but herself.

MY TAKE ON LEXI KILLS

Her and the Grim Reaper have never interacted. Not outrightly. But the Grim Reaper watches, and observes, and finds himself looking over a living creature. He wonders if she’s excited for death, if she’d ever be stupid enough to try and summon him. Sally sometimes delivers messages to Lexi- the little girl proclaiming herself as the “right hand man.” It's always.. vague. Weird. Rocks, bones, shredded paper with nothing written in a glass bottle. ..Lexi doesn’t bother speaking her questions aloud to anyone. She sees the Reaper as more than his job. Sees him as a cycle, inevitable, a soul, a seal and deal. He’s more than bones in a raggedy black cloak, and Lexi forever respects that.

If I had to assign her three mythical creatures, the Phoenix, the Ammit, and the Basan. The Phoenix, representing renewal, rebirth, and resurrection. They stray far from death, especially the resurrection part- but it still aligns. Not to only center Lexi’s character around death, but cycles were hinted at in the first paragraph of Lexi’s story part one- “go to school, graduate with mediocre grades, get a mediocre job, live a mediocre life, and die.” “slowly you decay, skin from flesh, flesh from muscle, muscle from bone. crowd pick at your eyes, flies lay young underneath ur fingernails, and the earth reclaims what it has lent to you.” ending the first paragraph with “once again.” I like to center Lexi’s character around cycles, though barely mentioned or.. being mentioned once, as far as I’m aware. I like to center Lexi’s character as breaking the cycle. her life isn’t mediocre- she’s a murderer, living with ethereal entities or just.. beings that wouldn’t be able to be understood by the sane human brain. she hates it, yes, but she DIDN’T get that mediocre job. Didn’t live that mediocre life. Her life is everything but regular, and I think this miserable path just strayed her from being different than anyone else. “YOU MUST BREAK THE CYCLE TODAY, OR THE LOOP WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW.” putting a character who made something of themself, though fairly bad, and putting them with beings that symbolize things inevitably being the same.. The Ammit represents guilt, punishment, and the weight of our choices. The devoured of the dead- eats the heart of those unworthy. Lexi has a guilty conscious for her so-called “wasted potential”, (which made me pair her up with the Basan, representing hidden anger, silent passion, and un-noticed power.) Feeling as if she’s let others down, even if those feelings are deeply suppressed and buried, like she could’ve been much more than this. Her childhood has made her unable to see that though this life is miserable, this life still does outshine all the rest. She is the odd one out. She is the perfect one out.

Lexi lives in the Appalachian Mountains. Her rebellious nature against the Operator led her to, obviously, wanting to stay far away from any reminders of her life. That being said- and previously said, “people with close relations to the Operator live in these mountains due to his birth being here,”- as a proxy, she MUST live there if not the Slendermansion. A very known one, at that. Of course, it’s considerably better than living in that realm- in a crowded fake mansion. In an illusion. Still, Lexi would have definitely chosen something else. Maybe Maryland, West Virginia.. Maine. She’d always wanted to live in Maine- the one thing she was certain about as a kid, when she’d planned nothing else out for her life. ..It’s fine. This is fine. Lexi is trying to live the best she can, and she can blend in with the crowd. She’s fine until the static burns into her mind and she’s out on another mission.

I, personally, can’t change much of her relationships. They’re all perfect- and do line up with the characters in my AU. Whether it be for the same reasons or not. However, I can add on. Lexi and Tobias don’t hate each other- strong dislike, yes, but for their own reasons outside of the Operator. (if I recall, proxies are made intentionally to hate each other in creator’s au) Lexi has very LITTLE respect for Tim and Brian, but it’s still notably there- and more evident for Tim. Sally and Lexi are actually pretty close, or as close as Lexi will let herself get to the little girl. Sally is the closest being to ever be towards the Grim Reaper, and Lexi.. well- I went into a rant just earlier. Their friendship doesn’t just consist of death, it’s about meaning, silent conversations, and the direct change of pace and un-intentional comfort right after. Being with Sally heals an inner child.. as bratty as that little girl can be. Helen and Lexi are.. actually, already written so perfectly. Ben and Lexi are fun to explore, like elder sisters with annoying ass middle school younger brothers but they don’t EXACTLY see each other as family. (lexi just finds BEN.. a dickhead. stop I just realized how many people dislike/hate BEN STOPAPO WE(as in YOU and ME)NEED TO TURN THAT AROUND) and so so SO much more. I think I’d be here forever if my brain could figure out all my thoughts at once.

FINE. Call her weird. But she watches Jude from a distance. Lexi makes sure they’re alright, makes sure they’re fine.. leave when Jude starts visibly mourning her sudden disappearance. Lexi’s right here, out in public, if she could just.. she’s chasing false dreams, anyway. Whatever. Anybody who may remind her of Jude she grows distant, paranoid, just… don’t. Really, really don’t.

Lexi would have definitely sided with Zalgo if given the chance. Though Zalgo isn’t arguably any better, MAYBE even worse, if the Operator hadn’t gotten to her first, then best believe she will be switching sides. Zalgo is the embodiment of chaos, mischief, rebellion. Lexi hates being told what to do, hates following paths after seeing it for so long- (despite not taking much action against it). Several traits she gained growing up lines up with rebellious and chaotic behavior to the social world, despite her spirit really not having much chaos or rebellion in it at all. Much less mischief. Adding her to Zalgo’s cult organization would be the cherry on top to her being misunderstood, and that is perfectly intentional.

“They seemed so passionate in what they did, but it’s probably just them quitting without notice.”

They scrolled through comments, theories, condolences- all centered around them. Irie bit their lip, eye twitching. This shouldn’t bother them as much as it should. But in Irie’s defense, they’re talking about them as if they’re dead. Their thumbs moved on their own, gripping the phone. “I’m fine. I’ll try to post something again.”

Of course, as soon as they hit “send” the comment got deleted instantly. A tease. A taunt— Ben was probably smirking behind the screen when he deleted it. (Either way, the comment would come off as a rude impersonator. Irie hasn’t posted in two years, after all.)

MY TAKE ON IRIE HEXLEY

Hexley does not enjoy being at the Slendermansion. Even so, they are forced to stay inside the realm: if they were to stay outside in another universe by themself for far too long- they’ll get ideas. Beliefs. Hope. That’s against the mindset the Operator needs for them.

Irie doesn’t really talk to anyone anymore. Especially those who recognize them as a small influencer. If you annoy them, they’ll give you the silent treatment. If you scare they’ll, they’ll give you the silent treatment. They’re quiet. They’re scared. They’re processing. Just.. give them a few minutes, their mind's in a different place. Give them space. If you wanna be friends with them, you have to willing engage with them- meaning Irie doesn’t do well with shy people like themself.

They do well with characters such as: Tobias, Ben, Nina, Jane, Eyeless Jack, Brian.. that’s it. They’re not all exactly their best friends- some more of acquaintances than close. But they work. (Cough- Jane, Brian, Toby.)

Ben, Nina, and Jane all bring them comfort in a way. Ben and Nina are distractions. Jack soothes them, makes them feel comfortable in complete silence. ..Well, the kid? Ben.. they had a rough start, seeing as to how Ben might just know everything on the internet. But overtime, they warmed up to each other. (can’t say the same for BEN.. asshole is barely respectful.)

Irie flinches every time they hear a faint voice calling their name. They freeze up, panic seizes their mind- only to discover that the voice is real, by a friend, by someone who was just calling from afar. They’re safe. (No, not really. But saying that helps them sleep at night.)

Insecure as hell about their scars- that’s obvious enough. Despite knowing there’s worse horrors in this place, despite knowing that nobody sees them as anybody different, they get insecure about it. Sally asked if they needed help getting back to their grave. Sally thought they were a lost ghoul. What the fuck? Sooo.. they cover it up with makeup, despite how painful it is. Sometimes even asks Nina to pitch in. (And showing Nina took a reaaal long time!)

Flinches every time someone brings up fame, money, recognition. That was what Irie was after, and look where that got them. They always bites her tongue, mutters an insult under their breath, and looks away- despite subconsciously knowing wanting fame isn’t wrong.

Irie is in their own world most days. Lost in thought- they’re a maladaptive daydreamer, zones out a lot too, gets desperate when hallucinating. They’re never fully there. Because of that, Lifeless Lucy relates to them- seeing a bit of the kid in Irie. They never approach each other. Never have a conversation. But it’s a small acknowledgment of recognition- like “yeah, I’m going through the same thing and it hurts.”

Irie bonds with the Kirin these days. Back against each other- The Kirin lets them approach them. They draw pictures in the sand, and Irie interprets it- it’s how they communicate, despite not needing it. Hexley had approached the creature with hope, wondering that maybe since Irie’s such a terrible person now- their suffering would end. They didn’t do anything. The Kirin recognized Irie as a victim more than anything, and they didn’t realize just how much they were hoping for that outcome until the morning after. Now they’re guided through rocks, markings, trees. Nature seems to make a clearing for them, barely anything disturbing them when they go on walks. Of course.. the person that’s sent with her is either nagging them or glaring at them for wasting their time. (Kinda ironic- the fact that Irie had been desperate for mankind at their weakest, their demise in the wild. Why’s is it that it changed?) The Kirins a traveler, so Irie barely sees the creature. But they’re in an alliance. An agreement. Somebody that understands their pain more than anyone.

Bonus! Lazari’s scared of them. Her skittish, off-putting, never there demeanor reminds Lazari of her mom too much- so the two stay away from each other. Irie, more of out of respect.. but, y’know.

FLORAH THE REAPER

“Oh, Florah! A comforting, soothing, friendly presence who brings a sense of comfort to those who need it. People who find themselves seeking for that motherly love feel drawn towards her, and Florah usually welcomes it with open arms. Even so, she has her own flaws- which, WELL, we aren’t gonna go too deep into. Everyone has flaws. Just- one thing, don’t push too many expectations onto her. She hates having things decided for her.. not that anyone really knows why. It’s probably just annoying.”

MY TAKE ON FLORAH THE REAPER

Begrudgingly, she finds herself in a town located on the Appalachia Mountains. Which- is mainly towards her service towards Slenderman, the Operator, the one who goes by many names- whoever the fuck he’s called today. She prefers civil things, and that simple, work-at-home or house-wife life. That, or the high-class stereotypical New Yorker one. Florah’s also considered being a gardener.. but, oh, all those dreams are lost hope by now. She steals to get by, and does it without second thought. Stealing is a necessity. Nobody’s gonna take her in, and well, the only work she’d prefer doing is taking care of others.

Others tend to enjoy her company. A bit boring for some, but to the elderly, adults, teenagers who enjoy the simpler and calmer things- she’s great company. Uhm… just like, don’t use brain rot around her. It’s… uh, whatever. (Impulsively stabbed an already-victim for whispering 6-7 during one of Florah’s speeches. Gods, the youth can’t take anything seriously.)

One of the creepypastas she connected easily to was Sally. Which is surprising. A rowdy one, that girl is. However, it wasn’t unwelcome. Sally’s a sweet girl behind all that exterior. Truth is, the reason why Sally was so drawn to Florah was because of “The Reaper” bit. Sally, an assistant and like a daughter to the Grim Reaper, connected two and two together and found them both alike in their own ways. Florah rarely contacts the Grim Reaper, but when she does or finds herself crossing paths with him, they work fairly well together. Even if the Grim Reaper disagrees with her… methods of letting someone pass away, to put it kindly. Acquaintanced with him, more of- mostly because of Sally.

Enjoys Tim and Brian’s company. They’re both respectable gentlemen, and they both are working towards a goal. Florah is still trying to figure hers out, but she’d never admit that out loud. Friends, in the simplest and most accurate term.

Rowdier, louder creepypastas- take Ben. Ben would dislike her, considering he finds brain rot hilarious, he’s loud to an extent, and all about the mischief. The kid simply doesn’t blend well with the crowd, and neither does he work well with Florah. However, in those rare times B.E.N materializes into a physical body- they.. well, maybe not get along. But it’s not hatred. Florah may find them confusing, and weird- B.E.N personally takes an interest in Florah. Tilts their head, grins wider than usual- then disappear like they always do.

Surprisingly, she’s made an acquaintance with the Banshees- befriended one! It’s.. rare. The Banshees aren’t very trusting, and more manipulative than anything. They carry out tasks for each other, strengthening their trust- Florah had been mistaken as a Banshee once. (Clearly, by someone who has no knowledge on what a Banshee looks like.) Ever since this new-found and unexpected connection, Florah found herself enjoying the sea life. Flowers have officially found its way to the ocean, drifting atop waves.

MISS BLACK

You blinked, tilting your head curiously at this one. She wasn’t exactly someone you’ve seen in the mansion before- you weren’t sure she was even connected to the Operator. Which… is weird, because people like her usually serve some…

Oh. Oh no. Slowly and surely, you backed up away from the woman. You hadn’t approached her yet. You’re sure you haven’t even alerted her. So.. you’re fine, it’s… Your eyes locked onto the strange woman. Eye contact was held for about three seconds, before she lunged.

Fuck.

MY TAKE ON MISS BLACK

Miss Black is a Zalgoid. (ophiel- the guardian of insanity. zalgo, the embodiment of chaos. the two work hand in hand.) She finds herself out of touch with the modern times, her story taking place sometime in the 1800s, so Miss Black resides in Zalgo’s realm, more often than not. (Zalgo’s realm, being the underworld, containing her tower.) She does have a backup cabin, though to regular passers it’s viewed as old, rusty, and not lived in for a while.

Miss Black’s one of the fewer Zalgoids who don’t believe Zalgo saved them. She does not necessarily worship the entity, but Miss Black stays around for her own benefits reasons. She feels as if she has nowhere else to run to. Zalgo reminds her of Ophiel, despite many differences lying between them. She feels inherently trapped. This is a cult, not a game. Play the part.

Friends with Laughing Jack, Dina / Judge Angel, Kate Hayes, and Zahir the Angel. Dina and Zahir are a trio, a group of angels or the ghost of what could’ve been. They don’t speak of it much. They aren’t even that close. But they share their similarities- even though they don’t speak much of that either. Started off as forced proximity to actually finding silent comfort in each other's company.

Kate Hayes and Laughing Jack are creepypastas. Enemy might be pushing it- Zalgo and the Operator don’t like each other, yeah, but their followers (or at least- the ones that still have an inch of sanity and control) don’t hate one another. It still does strain the friendships, though. Through it all- Laughing Jack still manages to be her friend. Still manages to make her laugh, and smile, and he isn’t a clown of comfort but he does know how to let Miss Black ease up. There’s a veil over them that shields them from the outside world, those who can’t understand them or their connections. But it was always like that, so why care now that there’s something good out of it? ..Miss Black appreciates him a lot.

Miss Black, despite not being an angel anymore, upholds certain beliefs or a mindset. She carries herself as if she is still a divine being- such a long portion of her life was spent being an angel, after all. She has a divine tongue, she will use it. She has a divine body, she isn’t afraid to show it. Her soul is divine, unlike most (all) people she’s surrounded with. Miss Black is a divine being, and not having wings or the whitest of souls anymore does not change that.

Miss Black hates feeling owned or controlled. Zalgo, friends, people merely around her had to be fairly careful with making sure she felt as if she was still in control of her body. In control of her actions. The only one she belongs to is herself, and she has to tell herself that daily, because.. well, what if she ends up in that tower all used again, and Miss Black never saw it coming until it was too late?

Her relationship with the tower is.. complicated, to say the least. She isn’t restricted to it. Not anymore. But Miss Black stays- like putting restrains on yourself, forcing yourself to live in the same environment that brings bad memories. Not that she enjoys it when anyone mentions it, of course. ..Don’t mention it.

On a previous post, I mentioned that all witches have a connection to something. Miss Black was assigned to shadows and bodies of water.

- The shadows represent filth, not being able to shine, having to stand in the shadow of someone else. During her time trapped, she was reduced to nothing more than a man’s wife- an abusive man, nonetheless. He would spout insults and lies and make her feel wrong for existing, feel dirty, feel filthy. Miss Black often finds herself morphing forms and turning into a shadow herself when she feels sheepish or threatened.

- The River does not stop to ask what it is. The River just flows. Everything is changing, everything is new. “Slang”, electronic devices, the way people talk. Miss Black finds herself not being able to catch up, and after a while, stopped trying. She slowed down. Took her own pace. Kept moving anyhow. Miss Black stopped asking questions. Her secrets, agony, despair, and longing lie a secret between the river, the shadows, and her cauldron.

THE LIVING RECORD

“KINDERGARTENERS ASK PROFOUND, IMPORTANT QUESTIONS. TWELFTH GRADE STUDENTS DON’T BOTHER THINKING ABOUT ANY OF THAT. SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED BETWEEN KINDERGARTEN AND TWELFTH GRADE.”

The Haruspex had never particularly cared for much. Not for you, not for skies of blue- not for anything. They’d noticed that a long, long while ago. A while that had been spent mimicking and copying other’s behavior, like it’d morph a path of its own and somehow gain originality in a trail of stealing. Even so, it sticks to what it knows. And what does it know? Curiosity.

Why did that lady laugh when her hair got ruined by the rain? Why did that teenager naturally blame themselves when something wrong happened to them? Why did that guy think he’s better than another for having more friends? Why is the grass green? Why do they have toes? Why do they hate education? The Haruspex personally loves it.

The Haruspex had designed a mindset for themselves- replacing all emotions with questions, so lost in their own script they forgot to actually care for it. Just sticking to what they know, like a broken record, isn’t that grand of a way to live. Is it?

MY TAKE ON THE COPYCAT THE HARUSPEX

The Haruspex had never had much of a direction to follow. Never really knew what to do- and as much as The Haruspex loved questions, this was one they kept out of their head. Changelings, they kept out of their mind. For their feeling of never being like the rest, for their disconnection from origin, for their past filled with cruelty- not from them, but others- for their lives that have felt so hollow from the beginning. Changelings, that so deeply resonated with The Haruspex that they couldn’t help but try to ignore them. Who likes a species that only represents all the bad things about you? The Changelings are loud tonight. But they always are, aren’t they? The Haruspex have learnt to ignore their calls, anyhow.

A nomad. It always has a room waiting for it back at the Slendermansion- but why would they care? Every Creepypasta has a room back in that realm. Besides, there’s so much to see. Why restrict themselves to one thing? It simply just can’t do- it’s not a learning environment, unless you’re learning who smells awful, who left corpses in a hallway, who to avoid- and The Haruspex has all the time in the world to learn that later. No, they need other questions answered now. (all this to say they travel between universes, rather than choosing one designated universe.)

Does not do well with X-Virus, Crow, and Nicole.. naturally. They all work with chemicals, ingredients, lab-work. No matter how similar they may be, no matter how well of friends they could’ve been in another life- they have this life. This life? The Haruspex grew up in the brutality that is the lab. The Lab Trio will come to their workspace to find the area trashed, or live their day to day lives at least a little harder depending on if The Haruspex is in the mood and who they choose to target. Somehow, the trio had let The Haruspex know what it’s like to feel. Even if it’s.. anger.

But anger isn’t all there is to life, is it? No- no. The Haruspex has observed, and seen. There is so much more- so many brilliant things. So? What does The Haruspex do? Replicate. As it always does. But.. everyone they replicate- copy, something comes off wrong. When The Haruspex tries loving, something goes wrong every time. Their friend- The Haruspex may come off as possessive or too jealous. Maybe a bit obsessive, platonically. It doesn’t do them any good. The only people they could be friends with are those who can stand the flaws.. accepting, and The Haruspex is accepting of them. Who the hell can do that?

Eyeless Jack, Nurse Ann, Lulu, Brian, and Kate. All these people have one thing in common- understanding. Although one might show it differently than the rest, or may not show it at all. (Are they exes? Who cares?) Jack… ignored them, for a few days on end.

The Haruspex has lost the text. The Haruspex has lost everything, technically speaking, besides his curiosity. He can only copy- but he’ll never fully understand unless he stops seeking. Unless he just tries to live life, unless he laughs un-intentionally for the first time- copying is no good if you can’t experience the real deal. And he’s noticed this. He’s not dumb- he knows this isn’t sufficient, but he tries anyway. Because it’s all he knows how to do, isn’t it? The Living Record, The Broken Record.. he goes by many names. ONE OF THE CROWS

You pushed the hood over your head, frantic eyes always looking at something different each five seconds- like a walk in a forest is the most dangerous thing to ever exist. Oh wait, it is. ..Never mind that. Your eyes land on a certain tree- well, your eyes have been darting to that tree for a while now. You wanna believe something is there and you should look out for it, considering you keep getting drawn to it, but you just.. can’t find anything.

Well, you weren’t looking hard enough.

“Ca-caw!” You look up, paralyzed momentarily by the sudden sound in such a quiet forest. Fuck- fuck fuck. So many people around you have died already, and now… Oh gosh, so the murders were connected. To you. But who?.. Up ahead, the Crows were staring at you with un-blinking eyes. Shit.

MY TAKE ON ADRIAN

The Wind is the Crows’ best friend. Not in the way that’s metaphorical- not that you can’t possibly form a bond with it. The Wind, quite literally, is their friends-and the slight odd-one-out has gained the Winds attention. With constant wind surrounding Adrian, his hair is always flying, including when he’s indoors. Plus- he’s always cold! Cold as HELL. With leaves and sticks in his hair due to it being blown in his direction. Don’t get too close to him, you’ll start freezing.

Of course, the Slendermansion isn’t an ideal home for the Crows’. No matter how big that universe is. Yes, their name is spread throughout the other creepypastas- they’re feared by some there. But they don’t live there- the Crows’ take a more nomadic approach. The difference being, they’re flying through universes. They aren’t restricting themselves to anything.

Adrian doesn’t find anyone shiny often. He’s too busy with the Crows’, with moving, with everything else. But.. when he does.. he’s very.. how do I say this? Stalker like? Yeah, he’s affectionate. But he’s outside your window and sliding gifts under your door that comes off as creepy more than anything else, even if it’s chocolates. Don’t you open up that window. He’s always watching from afar, and if not him, one of the other Crows. It gets to a point! Of course, he tries not to get attached. If you pose a threat to his committee, you’re done for. Simple as that.

That being said, he doesn’t.. have any friends. Well- except for Kate and Eyeless Jack. Not only do they have no reaction to it, but nearly see it as a benefit. Kill the people they hate? Hell yeah. They get protection- they get gifts, they get hit-men without even asking! A lot of other Creepypastas would obviously.. find them great too, but it’s just these two that caught Adrian’s eye. “CCCAWCWC CACACACAWW CAW CAW W SOMEBODY SI DYING” “yeah that’s great man.”

Adrian’s a natural born leader. Give him the go ahead, and now sit back and PLEASEEE don’t interfere while he works his magic. No, seriously. If you approach him while he’s solving a puzzle that’s important to you both he’ll start yelling at you and chucking whatever he has in his head towards you. Ow. He doesn’t like being overwhelmed or disturbed- he’s locked in, just LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR NOW!!! (oh and plus he really likes puzzles. come on man!!)

Adrian used to be the most social thing. Tons of friends, helped others out- dude, he fed the birds on his way to his college. Of course he was missed, beloved. ..Looking at those posts on the internet and those missing people posters in his hometown makes him feel a certain way, and he refused to describe it or label it- so he just.. avoids going on the internet much. Let alone go back “home.” Home is where you are needed the most. There’s nothing there for him, anymore.

Wren’s another one of Slender’s proxies. She’s kinda an odd-one-out though, never really sticking with the other four-to-five as often as she should. Maybe it’s ‘cause she has that wandering mindset.. anyway. Uhm. She kinda creeps me out? Creeps.. a lot of people out. Oh, well. We’re all murderers or associated with murder, anyway. Wren’s overall pretty nice! From, uh- an outsider’s perspective. Never really got to know her. Ahem.. nooo.. not because she terrifies me.”

MY TAKE ON WREN

Wren is somewhat of a nomad. Technically, yes, you can call her a resident of the realm that is the Slendermansion- but! She’s not very often seen there. Wren ventures out into the wild, sleeping anywhere. Whether that be her room, a motel, or the grass and dirt in the forest. Wren isn’t bound to one place, and just because she’s a proxy doesn’t make her bound to Slenderman, either. ..Or, so what she tells herself. Everyone around her seems to disagree- but screw them. What do they know?

As shown previously, she kinda.. creeps people out? Forgive her, but the whole “trying-to-be-joyous” thing just makes the more saner ones unsettled. She’s unsettling. ..Though, she does blend in with the more hyper-active crowd. Of course, in the outside world, she doesn’t stick around long enough for strangers to form an opinion on her. Met her on social media? Yeah, she’s gonna ghost you next week. Week, if you’re lucky- usually it’s the next few days. Wren doesn’t let herself be limited to anything, why would she limit herself to you? Someone who doesn’t understand the whole the-walls-are-listening gimmick?

That being said- she still is capable of friendship and love. In fact, she tries to appear fun and energetic to make herself more likable. Wren doesn’t do well with those who seem to take pride with their killing- but.. that’s mostly everyone here. (Mostly, only because Wren isn’t looking in the right places. There’s more to these walls than what meets the eye.) So, she has to suck it up. Acquaintances with Ben, Jeff, B.E.N. Friends with Laughing Jack, Tobias, Nina, Natalie.

Clockwork found her a bit strange at first. Just like everyone else, honestly. But overtime, as they kept coincidentally meeting up, and trust grew between the two- their bond only really strengthened. Natalie can sympathize with the reluctance, the trying-not-to-be-your-parents— even if the saying “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree” comes true. They have small, short conversations about it. Nothing poetic. Nothing life-changing. Just acknowledging it, like a small hum underneath the noise and the yells. A hum to a melody they both want to stay deep, deep underground.

When B.E.N. materializes into a physical form and somehow catches themselves in the presence of Wren- they laugh. Tilts their head, mocks her. “Why are you so desperate to be something you’re not? You’re not fun, or happy, or not like yo-“ Wren threw a punch, but B.E.N simply phased through it. It was the start of being enemies.. and although it’s lessened to the degree of just rivals, the dislike or hatred is still there. (One-sided, though. B.E.N just finds her amusing.)

Nina and Wren. They can’t relate to each other much, but they can relate to the fact that they both are trying to escape their own rot. Trying to get their likability up. Trying to be something they’re not. It’s a small agreement between them, like, “Yeah. It hurt.” The difference is, Wren has more important things to do than quote-on-quote, “wallow in her shame”. Nina does not.

Members watch out for her tricks and schemes, taking extra caution in their steps. Who knows where Wren left her most recent trap? The only indication they have is a vulture’s feather, guiding them away towards safety. Of course.. nobody knows that, and assume said feathers lead towards danger. (gross little headcanon: Wren collects dead bodies.)

Caladrius. They had always been beautiful to Wren, always will. Their connection to the sky, the trees, the sickness. Wren wondered if the Caladrius could heal Wren of mental sickness, too. ..Oh, well. It’s a rare bird, a rare mythological creature. The vultures fly where they want to, and it doesn’t seem to be in the direction of the Caladrius anytime soon. (Patience, Wren. Mother Nature watches, and watches, and watches. The wind is looking after you, too. You’ll find out your goal in due time.)

When I said cool, I meant from an outside perspective. She’s kinda we- OHHH MY GOD. Fine. She’s not weird, she’s alright! Get off my ass, [NOT-AVAILABLE.]”

MY TAKE ON CROW

Crow resides in the Slendermansion- very obviously. That being said, when she leaves the realm that is the Slendermansion and steps into one of the designated universes, it’s hiding behind shadows, trees, buildings. The amount of times kids passing by had started screaming in alarm by catching a glimpse of her shadow, only for their friends to play it off as them being a coward, paranoid or just wanting to scare them…

Crow doesn’t have many friends, and it’s preferred that way considering her schedule. She’s quite busy with the commissions and products and all that she has to make. There are a lot of pastas, after all. This realm.. who knows how large these walls truly are? She occasionally trades vials for bodies or materials. Staying up overnight, working herself to the bone.. Well, until she finds the other suppliers of the mansion, and finds two in particular.

Nicole and Liam- or, rather prefers to go by X-Virus or Cody- also work with chemicals. Scientist and witch, they’ve paired up to make the workload easier, and eventually pairs up with Crow too. Nicole didn’t like her at first, that is until Crow warmed up to Cody- and saw just who Crow really was. Months went by, and the trios more of close friends than co-workers. Their hangouts consisting of whatever-the-fuck-they-wanna do. (Most often, baking. Except Cody’s just.. the taste-tester, and washes plates.)

She does have small connections to other pastas. Eyeless Jack, Jane, Kate, somehow Toby’s taken an interest in her. (Mostly annoying conversation, but conversation nonetheless. Or maybe it’s just because they’re both proxies? Who knows.) Crow has a small circle, but she doesn’t need anything crazy or big. Just the silver linings in life.

Unfortunately, she does not have much of a connection to the mythical beings in the world. (which is a shame because if she did, I’d definitely have her heavily connect to wyverns). Not going outside much, staying indoors- mythical creatures inside the realm or universe that is the mansion typically stay out of sight from pastas. The closest she’ll be to one is through her experiments, observation, from afar. Even so, connections have led her to interaction of those mythicals. Nicole, her nature-loving friend, shows Crow her findings. (crow now has a fascination with dragons and all things alike, by the way.) ..This does have its downsides, because every time she steps out the mansion, she’s now hyper-aware of every little thing being alive and breathing and real. Just what is hiding out of her sight?

Ever since the six-month period, she finds herself a little foggy with memories. In short? Bad, bad memory. Ask her what happened yesterday- she has the idea of it, vague remembrance of going on a walk- but forgets a detail or two(definitely more)- which might just be the most important parts of that day. Crow keeps a notepad to remember ingredients, vials, what she needs to make for this reason.
