Part 2 of the shipkid redesigns, 2nd fav edition

Going into these next designs, you'll notice that I have a lot more to say about them than I did PJ. There isn't as much info in their canons, so I've built off of it with a bunch of my own ideas (I'll probably add the "HC" prefix to all of them lol)

I'm not writing anything here that's already apart of canon, but I do want to note that og Crescent is already stated to be aroace. I just imagine him to specifically be on the repulsed side of the spectrum

His magic isn't strong on a base level, as he can only levitate small objects and read weakened/tired minds before it begins to cause headaches and often a leak of liquid negativity and determination (aka his blood. fun times)

His ability to sense other's emotions is also limited, as he can only do it while in close proximity. He doesn't have an aura either

Not very emotive + resting angry face. Even when content he tends to just look bored

Chronic pain due to the determination near melting his bones mixed with the rapid healing

The only reason Nightmare kept Crescent around despite his weaknesses was the possibility of him corrupting like he did someday

He's since escaped Nightmare, but hasn't been able to cry for many years due to suppressing his negative emotions to not lose control

He's still a skilled fighter in his own right, mainly deploying his tendrils for self defense and using his magic decisively. He's had to gain a lot of experience over his life

I have a lot more ideas but for now this is just a list of the "essentials" when it comes to my variant

This is the main group that forms the core of the story! Whilst Prim is obviously the focus, they aren't the only main character. Everyone gets a chance in the spotlight!

They aren't really a proper friend group until the end of the story, but this highlights their dynamics following that. They love each other a lot okay.

Also, first time showing Cinereal off to Tumblr. Been waiting to finish his reference before posting him here, but I've been so incredibly burnt out on drawing that it's taking longer than I wanted </3 So... you get a sneak peek of him. My son daughter whom I love dearly
