Hi! I’d like to share my fic for the Proud Author Spotlight. It is a modern MDZS heist AU inspired by Ocean’s Eleven, set in Las Vegas and Macau. It follows an original character and his crew through a high-stakes con, with a slow-burn M/M romance with Lan Xichen. If you like heist stories with real stakes, morally complex characters, and a romance that builds slowly across the whole story, this might be for you.

Summary: Macau. The Lan brothers own it. Three casinos, one empire, no mercy. Wei Wuxian assembles a crew of seven to bring it all down from the inside. Qing Yi's job is simple: get close to Lan Xichen, earn his trust, bring his empire down. The problem is that Lan Xichen is not what he expected. And Qing Yi is not as untouchable as he pretends. The heist is the easy part. Falling for the mark was never in the plan. Inspired by Ocean's Eleven.
