Long ago i had this strange idea come in my head and never fully went for it i drew them once and never posted them but now i shall and here they are!
The idea: Crime fighting robots based on the ship Titanic and her sister ships Olympic and Britannic.
Ill probably do more with this idea eventually
Leonardo- Oneshot(TMNT 2014/2016)- Extra
Having the abilities you possessed did guarantee that a fall from at least 20 feet wouldn’t kill you. But it sure as hell would hurt.
“AHHHHHHHH!”
Instead of falling into the concrete, you were caught in a pair of sturdy and surprisingly tender hands. Leo looks down, still holding your bridal style.
“Are you okay?”
You blinked, nodding a bit dazed as those beautiful blue eyes stared back at you with worry.
“I’m fine…”
He visibly relaxed.
“Could ya guys stop flirting!!! This place is about to collapse!!”
Raph yelled moving past you. The creaking of the structure above confirmed his words.
“Y-You can put me down, I’m okay.” He smiles.
“I like holding you.” Leo took off in a sprint with you in his arms.
As a person who’d spent the majority of your life trying to be recognized, you were pretty independent yourself. Watching movies where the female was constantly being saved was romantic and all. But you sort of wanted a mix. So asking for help was never your biggest strength.
But right now, as Leo basically carried you like a princess out of the crumbling building, you felt like you sort of understood the appeal to an extent. Yes, being a strong heroine was magnificent in your eyes. But every once in a while, it was nice to be saved by the cliche hero.
~
“Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, Don’t cha!!”
During the night, practicing in the dojo was always a good way to go. Your patrol had ended, and the boys had all pretty much turned in for the night. So you were free to do whatever. With earphones plugged in, you got to work. Doing a workout that Leo often carried out with his brothers. Maybe if you hadn’t been so into the music you would have noticed Leo come in. You’d only realize when you made a little twirl to move over to the punching bag. You jumped slightly, and Leo just offered a smile. You removed your earphones, cheeks flushed.
“H-How long have you been standing there?”
“A while.”
His hands were folded, and you really hoped the earth would just swallow you up, if nothing but to save you from embarrassment.
Leo walked over, and you refused to truly look at him.
“Have you been here since we got back?” You nod.
“I’m sorry, I know I should rest it’s just-”
“You feel like you’re not working as much as you can.” You’re a bit surprised. He’d nailed it.
“Yeah.”
Before he was always concerned that you were always pushing yourself trying to prove that you were stronger than everyone. He’d always tried to restrict you because he was worried. But he’d completely forgotten that it could have actually been your power growing. Expanding in a way even he didn’t truly understand.
“(Y/N), when we bench together, does it ever get exhausting?”
You weren’t sure where he was going with this, but you answered regardless.
“Truthfully..I don’t.” You looked at your hand.
“It’s weird. It’s like I’m limiting myself.”
“That’s what I thought.” He concludes.
Leo realizes that he’s partly to blame. Your body responded to pressure really well. Since naturally your body adapts to loads after a portion of time, your body was enhanced possibly ten times as much. It’s possible that your strength was beyond what he could even fully understand.
“Starting tomorrow let’s increase your load. I think I’ve had it wrong all this time. Maybe your little powerlifting competitions with Raph helped you. You might be capable of much more.” Your eyes lit up.
“A-Are you serious!!?”
He nods.
“I should have from the-”
You jumped, wrapping your hands around his neck as you hugged him. Leo jested back just a little, holding you at the sudden movement.
“Thank you Leo!”
You were beaming, and he couldn’t help but smile.
When you pulled back, he kept his hand placed lightly on your hips. The lack of distance between the both of you seems to catch up. Your excitement changes to bashfulness. He never realized just how adorable you look when you got shy. It was such a rare sight. One that seemed to become increasingly regular whenever you looked his way. He was the reason for those looks.
A thought that made him filled with warmth.
You look a bit hesitant now. Leo notices the way your eyes move from his lips, back to his gaze. Your hands slide from around his neck, down to his shoulder, and when you begin to lean in a bit cautiously, he enjoys the way you nervously nibble on your lower lip. Leo closes the distance hurriedly, and you let out a soft squeak in surprise. His hand ran over your back, and you leaned into him, holding on.
~~~
“He’s actually kind of cute.”
You were sitting in his room after a workout. Leo didn’t seem to mind you just sitting around as you worked on some assignments as he tended to his tree. Your book was laying on your lap, but you could hardly focus with him moving around every once in a while looking so freaking cute.
“Get a grip.”
You forced yourself to refocus on your work. This was ridiculous. When did you become a love struck puppy? Clenching your pencil, you did your best to try not to show how much you were swooning over the blue band leader.
“Is something wrong?”
You look up at Leo, and there’s that look again. Of subtle worry. A part of you wonders how long he’s been sending you those looks and you’ve never noticed. You rub your arm, looking to the side.
“Leo..how long have you..had feelings for me?”
He doesn’t see this coming at all. You shift on your feet, thankful that you’re in the confines of his room. Because had you been anywhere else, this would be difficult for you to address.
“I know it’s sudden. I just can’t stop thinking about it.”
“About you.”
“Have you just become aware of me?” His little smile makes your face flare up.
“D-Don’t go getting cocky!! Y-You’re still a stick in the mud!!” You retaliate.
There’s that temper again.
“Maybe it was when we first met.” He folds his arms, smiling at the memory.
“When we saw you push that dumpster ten feet across the street like it was nothing, you immediately tried to pick a fight because you thought we were muggers too. Even after you saw us, you stood your ground. I could see that you were scared, terrified, but you decided to fight back. Regardless of the outcome of that battle. Your resilience was something I’ve never really seen.”
You’re a bit in awe.
“More often than not we have to face the bad in the world. I guess a part of me needed to be reminded that we weren’t just fighting for ourselves, but for other people. You reminded me of that when you told me you wanted to be a hero. Just like us.”
Leo’s hands dropped to his side, and he moved closer.
“Every time you fought, every patrol you accompanied us on, the more I learned. Then that one night you got hurt and it scared me. I saw what could happen if you were ever discovered. So I told myself that you needed to be better. Than Raph or Donnie or Mikey. You needed to be better than me. That was the only way you would be safe.”
Tears gathered at the corner of your eyes.
“I convinced myself that it was fine if you hated me. It was alright if I became the enemy in your eyes. Because when a real one showed up, you would be ready. But I was wrong. Every time I pushed you I broke your confidence. Your spirit. I acted just like the people I was trying to protect you from and I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I ever made you feel like you didn’t belong. Like you weren’t good enough. I’m sorry (Y/N). You’re amazing. Strong, magnificent. You’re a hero. You always have been. “
More than anything, hearing those words from him are possibly all you ever wanted.
You wipe your cheek, grinning at him.
“Thank you Leo. Thank you so much!!” You run into his arms, and he holds on as you wrap your arms around his torso, holding on tight.
“You’re welcome.”
~~~
The atmosphere has calmed down a bit, and now you can't help but tease.
“So you’ve been crushing on me since we met huh. That makes sense. “ You’re now lying on his bed, and Leo laughs from his spot on the floor as he meditates.
“What about you?”
You sit up at his question.
“You had a crush on me too.” You flush at his statement.
“I-I never said that!!”
“You didn’t.”
His legs unfold, and he stands. You can feel your heart race with the slow manner in which he approaches.
“You never told me, but when I kissed you, you didn’t push me away.” He’s looking down at you with those piercing eyes.
“In fact, you pulled me closer..” His hand presses into the mattress, and your blush darkens.
“I-I was just in shock!!”
“Really?”
He leans over, and you gulp. You’re locked between the bed and his body. His knees sink into the bed, and you try to look anywhere but directly at him.
“Push me away.”
He taunts softly. Leo lowers, and you bite down on your lip when he leaves a kiss on your neck. The kisses begin to move down your neck, and you close your eyes, brows knitting as you do your best to keep in any embarrassing sounds. You lift your hands to offer another snarky comment, but they flatten on his chest. Your eyes meet slowly, and Leo doesn’t say a word, and neither do you. It’s clear to see how muscular Leo is. But seeing and feeling were completely different.
It’s crazy to think that just a few weeks ago you both were bickering like cats and dogs. Now, being this close to him has become almost as natural as breathing. There’s a bit of hesitance in your eyes. Leo notices it immediately.
“Leo..are you sure you actually like me. M-Maybe you just feel guilty because of before.” You wish you could banish the thought.
“I love you, and guilt has nothing to do with it.”
When your eyes connect this time, you appear hopeful. Leo sounds so sure.
“I know because of how we started you might doubt me, but I swear this isn’t because of guilt or some obligation. I’ve always cared about you. More than I wanted to admit to myself. That day when you looked at me, when you accused me of hating you it made me realize how ridiculous I was." His hand brushes your cheek.
“Please don’t ever doubt how I feel about you again."
You’re not sure how you managed to see such a side to Leo. As long as you’ve known him. He’s always had this serious by the book persona. No excuses, no mistakes. You both have made so many mistakes, but everything is different now.
“Can you tell me you love me again? Just..one more time..”
It’s something you never realized you loved hearing.
Leo smiles.
“I love you (Y/N).”
Even though it’s your request, your cheeks are red. Leo expects you to say some snide remark and deny the flushness in your cheeks that he’s about to tease you about. He prepares for it.
“I love you too Leo.” You’re looking right at him, and his heart gives a quick thump. His eyes widened just a fraction.
“Did she just say..”
He doesn’t finish the sentence, only leans down and kisses you.
You welcome it happily.

Donatello (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)- Oneshot
That night when they’d seen you take a knife to the stomach like it was nothing, They were sure it was all an illusion. It wasn’t just the fact that you’d gotten stabbed, but you didn’t flinch. April had been running a story about robberies on your side of the city.
The cops had been struggling to track down the suspect, so the boys had taken matters into their own hands. So when they found a reliable lead, the plan was to apprehend the perp and turn him in. Because this man was smart, and he’d been leaving bodies in his wake. He was getting off on hurting people. Something they couldn’t just let slide.
Leo promised himself he wouldn’t let another person get hurt. That’s why when you were taken hostage, they were careful not to make a move. Especially since your assailant was now panicking that he was surrounded by four huge turtles. In a last attempt to escape he’d rammed the knife right into your gut. They’d flinched, and you didn’t react. His surprise gave you an opening. You’d spun around, delivering a harsh punch to his jaw that knocked him out cold.
Silence followed, and you didn’t wince or grimace, not once as you drew the blade from your abdomen. The metal clattered to the ground, and Donnie stared in interest at your bloody knuckles and soaked t shirt. The wound had caused a slit in your clothing, and they all watched astonished as the wound began to slowly heal itself. With nothing more than the blood in its place, your eyes lifted.
The right words couldn’t be said, not at that moment But you realized then that you weren’t the only supernatural being living in New York City.
That was almost a year ago.
It would have been a lie to say that the whole mutant situation was easy to grasp. But you’d seen them that day, and then April O’ Neal made it her mission to track you down to get answers. You both had secrets you needed to protect. At the time, your alliance was merely an agreement to keep both parties safe. You had no interest in being a hero. Nor did you want to end up in some lab to be poked and prodded.
As days turned to weeks, your views changed. What started off as a business proposal flourished into actual friendship. You respected what they did. More so because you could never truly see yourself putting your life on your line for complete strangers. They were admirable with their own amazing qualities.
Donatello was..different.
A part of you has always been a bit distant. Even with friends and family, no one knew about your abilities. The boys were the only ones who knew outside of April, Casey and Vern. So when he’d offered to study your DNA to figure out what triggered your power, you were hesitant at first. For one, it wasn’t the fact that you couldn’t feel pain.
You just..couldn’t feel anything.
It had only started in your senior year of high school after you’d gotten into a car accident. You’d healed much like everyone else, but since that day. Everything was different. You were different. That’s why the thought of a cure was all you wanted. But the pain that would follow when you realized even that was unattainable would hurt. Despite that, Donnie believed.
So you agreed.
For the last four months you’d been doing tests. You weren’t sure you would even find anything, but Donnie was hopeful. It was kind of cute to watch him gush over science. Not that you would admit such a thing to his face.
“I think I’ve made a breakthrough!!”
Donnie’s voice draws your focus in. You follow him to his computers. He taps on the screen, the many images of your DNA structure laid out right before your eyes. There’s a copy of a regular sample of a person, compared to yours. The first discovery he’d made was the differences in your strand. He’d spent the first few weeks trying to separate every part to come up with some kind of answer. But each attempt led to another failure.
“I’ve been going about this all wrong. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before!!”
He kept babbling about some scientific terms that didn’t even seem real to you. He began typing vigorously on his computer.
“Mind sharing with the class Donnie?”
He blinks.
“Yes, of course sorry.” He adjusted his glasses, pulling a chair for you to take a seat. You did, waiting for him to explain.
“This entire time we’ve been operating under the intention that your abilities are separate entities. But they aren’t. Your healing is tied to your body’s integumentary system. That’s why you don’t feel. Whatever chemical reactions that are in your body providing this defensive mechanism are intertwined. If we can figure out how your body heals, then maybe we’ll be able to trigger the switch to help you regain feeling.”
The light seemed to brighten in your eyes at the mere possibility of feeling something. Anything.
Everything.
“Donnie…that’s incredible!”
“I know, and I have just the place to start!!” His focus returned to the screen. You knew what that meant. It would be a while until he would be able to pry himself away from his work. You sat there, looking at the almost foreign equations on the screen, then back to Donnie. Initially you’d been so skeptical. You didn’t want to get your hopes up. But he was so sincere. He was a scientist at heart, so of course experiments excited him. But that’s not how he saw you, how he treated you. Maybe he’d seen the hurt you wore as you explained your powers all those months ago. His words were still echoing in your mind.
“I’ll help you feel again. As a scientist I promise I’ll help you.”
You didn’t understand why he even cared. It was almost like he understood.
In a way he did. He knew full well what it was like to be different. To feel like you didn’ truly belong.
He worked day and night fighting to give you just a chance at a normal life. Even with all he already had on his plate. He was incredible.
“(Y/N)?”
You blink a couple times, and Donnie places his hand on your shoulder to check if you’re okay. The second his hand touches your skin, you’re startled. Then his body is thrown halfway across the room by what looks like a shockwave of energy.
“D-Donnie!!”
He grunts when his back hits the wall, and your scream draws everyone in. Splinter, Raph and Leo come from the direction of the dojo. Mikey right behind.
Donnie is picking himself off the floor, and you keep at a distance. Leo races to your side.
“(Y/N) What happened what’s wro-” He reaches out to help.
“DON’T TOUCH ME!!”
Leo flinches, and now they're all confused.
You stagger backwards, looking down at your hands. Your vision feels blurred, and your breath is shaky. You have no idea what happened. This isn’t like any of your other abilities. This is different.
Donnie lifts his hands as he approaches slowly.
“You need to calm down. I’m fine, see.” He gestures to his body, and you’re still frightened.
“I-I don’t know what’s going on. T-That’s never happened before Donnie I-”
“It’s okay. It was an accident. I need you to breathe. Whatever this is, if your respiration rate raises any higher, it could set off another wave. I don’t want you to get hurt. “
You’d literally just chugged him across the room and he was worried for your safety.
His brothers have yet to move. It’s apparent that Donnie might be the best bet to resolve this situation.
“Steady your breathing.”
He instructs softly. He’s still keeping his distance, because he knows if he gets any closer, you’ll probably run off in hopes of avoiding another blast hitting him. You did your best to follow what he said. Breathing in and out in a controlled manner. It takes a few moments, but you look a little less like a frightened deer. Donnie offers a nervous little smile, and it actually helps. You return it.
“That’s great. You’re doing amazing.” He just takes one step, careful not to move too quickly.
“We need to figure out what triggered it (Y/N). Something must have happened? Maybe you got scared, or felt overwhelmed looking at the computers. Even excited.” He had just delivered some good news to you. So, you backtrack.
“What I was feeling..”
Nothing you think of seems to stand out, so you look at Donnie pleading. He can see your desperation. But the longer you stare at him, something dawns on you.
Feelings.
You swallow, and your eyes run over him, much like you’d done when you were sitting in the chair. Looking at him. Your heart rate increases.
“It couldn’t be..” You mutter.
“What is it?” Donnie asks.
Pink is now littered all over your face.
“Oh my gosh.” You voice.
Donnie is still very much confused. Yet, Raph and Leo are no longer tense. Splinter folds his arms.
“Damn, don’t scare us like that. We really thought ya guys were in trouble. Let’s get out of here.” Raph says.
“W-What are you talking about? We haven't figured it out yet!!” Donnie argues. Leo just pats his back.
“I’m sure she can explain. “ Leo says nothing more, just turns, and Raph follows with a smirk.
“Have fun dork.” He throws over his shoulders.
“Wait, I wanna know what happens.” Mikey says.
“Come on dumbnut!!” Raph grabs Mikey by his shell, dragging him off. Splinter bows.
“Not you too, Sensei!!”
“I’m confident you will figure this out, Donatello.” He’s gone before Donnie can even form a sentence. Now that it’s just the two of you, Donnie feels like he’s in over his head.
“I can’t believe they just left like that, so much for family.”
He complains. He still has no way to help you. But now that it’s just the two of you, he observes. Your eyes are trained at your feet. You no longer look as guarded. A part of him knows that they must believe this isn’t serious to just leave like that. Donnie moves closer, and this time you don’t try to run.
“(Y/N), is it possible that you’ve figured out what caused it?” You nod sheepishly.
“Are you..going to tell me?” Your head is still lowered, and you shook your head.
“I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s wrong. Please. It can’t be that bad?” He tries to give you a reassuring smile.
There’s nothing you can do but be honest.
“I think they reacted that way because of..how I feel about you.”
He still looks confused.
“How..you feel about me?” He tilts his head adorably.
“I..I like you Donnie.” It’s just above a whisper. There’s no reaction. Not at first. But it catches up to him, and he becomes a stuttering mess.
“I-I y-you b-but y-you I..” He’s not forming coherent sentences, and you feel painfully embarrassed. This was what you were afraid of.
Donnie is still trying to gather himself, but he notices how you become silent. Almost guarded. You take a step back, holding your body protectively. He knows that stance. Seen it too many times not to recognize when you felt vulnerable. Gathering his courage, he decides maybe it’s time to own up.
“You fight criminals for a living. This should be a piece of cake. You got it Donnie!” He needs the internal pep talk.
“Donnie just forget that I-”
“I-I like you too!!” He blurts it out.
“I-I’ve liked you since that day I promised I’d help you with your powers. I’ve had the biggest crush on you for the longest time!” He confesses. You’re both stunned at his bravery in that moment and the confession. He turns his back quickly, fidgeting with his glasses. He can’t look you in the eye.
“I-I just wanted you to know.” He mumbles. Your cheeks are still burning, but you manage to move, walking around Donnie. You're now able to see his face, and he lifts his head slowly.
“I’m sorry..I should have said something earlier.” You shake your head.
“You don't have anything to be sorry for Donnie.”
He was just as scared as you’d been.
“Do you mean it? You’re not just saying it because…you pity me?” You hate that your mind even goes there, but it’s always been at the back of your mind. Donnie was a literal hero. His feelings could have been easily blinded by loyalty, or sympathy.
“It’s not pity.”
You meet his eyes, because there is no uncertainty in that statement.
He takes one step, and you almost hold your breath. His gait has changed. He looks a little more sure of himself. When his hands lightly touch your shoulders, you let out a soft breath. He’s so close. When he leans in, your heart rate increases.
“I know that you probably won’t feel this, but I hope it helps you understand how I feel. “ He mumbles, right before his lips press to your own. Your eyes widen. Not due to surprise from the boldness Donnie has displayed. But the warmth that comes with this kiss.
The warmth.
“Warm.”
You remind yourself that you feel it. The heat of his lips on your own.
You can feel it.
Pulling back hurriedly, you gape at Donnie.
“I-I’m sorry that was my first time! I don’t have a lot of experience. Was it horrible!?”
He’s fully panicking.
“I felt it…”
Donnie is the one who’s stunned now.
“I felt it.” You repeat. You swallow, reaching for his hand. When you place it at the center of your chest, you stare, then begin laughing.
“I can feel it..I can feel you…DONNIE I CAN FEEL YOU!!” It’s a cheer, and he mirrors your excitement.
“You can feel me!!!”
He picks you up, spinning you around. When your feet land on the ground again, you’re still both having your little celebration for a while. You’re a bit delirious with joy. This is incredible. Almost unreal. Your happy laughter dies down, and you can’t help but smile at him.
It slowly drops when you run over the last couple seconds. You swallow, and Donnie barely has a chance to react, because you lean in this time, pressing your lips to his desperately. There’s a soft sound of surprise and he backpedals, almost knocking items off his desk. He steadies himself. When the initial shock wears off, he pulls you in, returning the kiss. His hands run up your back, and you moan.
Donnie realizes that he loves the sound. He spins around, this time purposely shoving items off his desk as he lifts you up. Neither of you break the kiss as he plants you comfortably on the table. Your hands are everywhere, you want to feel it all. Donnie has quite the same idea. You wrap your legs around his waist.
“Your..room..”
You manage to get out between the hungry kisses.
Donnie nods sheepishly, navigating down the hall with you in tow. He stumbles for a second, and you laugh as he braces on the wall. He mimics the sound with a laugh of his own as you pull him back into a kiss. Trying to make it to his room.
There’s no sign of either of you stopping, or slowing down.
It won’t happen anytime soon.
Rapheal (TMNT 2014/2016)- Chapter 1
You’d known for a while how you felt about Leo.
You also knew that the feelings were unrequited. The very night you’d decided to come clean about it all, you saw him with April. It would be a blatant lie to say you didn’t see it coming. You understood.
April was beautiful, passionate and loyal.
There’s always been the lingering feeling that he cared for her. That didn’t make it hurt any less. The problem was, you were the best at hiding how you felt. When Leo told you about his relationship with her the day after, he hadn’t even noticed that every word he said was a knife to your chest. Not because he was blind, or even insensitive. He literally had no idea. You supposed so many years of stifling your feelings made you a master.
Despite the revelation, you still followed him around like a puppy. You couldn’t help it.
Leo was just the kind of person you couldn’t help but be around. Feelings aside, he was a good person. A great leader. So you promised yourself you would move on. April was happy, so was Leo. So you could be too.
Your feelings would disappear eventually.
They had too.
“Hey dumbnut, where’s my gloves!!”
Raph’s voice boomed through the lair, and Mikey ducked, running from around the corner. The smile that spread on your face was not something you could control. The bickering between the both of them started. You just watch. It was hard to be stuck in your somber thoughts when you had friends like these keeping you entertained.
“Are they arguing again?”
Leo walked up from behind, and you nod with a grin.
“I think Mikey messed with Raph’s stuff again.”
“I’m not even surprised anymore.”
Leo’s eyes shifted, and he caught the bruise on your shoulder.
“(Y/N)..”
You lift your head, a bit confused about his concern.
“What’s wrong?”
“Your arm, you were hurt last night.” You look over at your exposed shoulder.
“Oh, yeah. I didn’t realize it until I got home. It’s fine, it'll heal in a couple weeks. “ His mouth formed a tight line.
“Let me clean it and bandage it.”
You shook your head.
“Leo, trust me it’s fine.” He didn’t look convinced, and you just stood.
“It’s clear that you won’t let this go.”
“Good choice.”
He stepped back, and you headed in the direction of his room. Leo followed shortly after. As you break the corner, Raph’s eyes follow until you’re out of sight.
You take a seat on his bed, and Leo moves to grab his first aid kit. You wait patiently as he shuffles around to gather what he needs. When he returns and begins tending to your bruise, you barely notice. Because you’re a bit zoned out. Your mind trails to moments like these in the past. Where he showed you such tender kindness. Times where he gave you that worried look that always made you feel special.
Being back here in his room has a melancholy feeling. You’ve already convinced yourself that harboring these feelings would lead to nothing good. Although you’re on the road to move on, you still haven’t fully gotten there. Moments like these are what makes it impossible to truly let go.
“Done. You should change the bandage when you’re going to shower. Manually I mean. No telekinesis.”
There’s no response, and Leo tilts his head.
“(Y/N).”
He’s talking to you.
“Thank you.”
That’s a pretty solid response. You stand, giving him one of your smiles. The one that feigns happiness. A mask. One you’ve learned to wear very well, because Leo returns it.
“Next time all you have to do is ask. I don’t mind helping you with your injuries. I’ve cleaned more than my fair share.”
“That’s why I’m hesitant. You have enough to deal with worrying about those block heads.” His laughter is louder, and you join in. It doesn’t matter that your heart aches. Because right now, he’s happy.
Time just continues to rush by.
Days, weeks. You’d think getting over love would be at least a bit easier. You’re thankful for the work you do with the boys. Because you need the distraction. This particular mission is a tricky one.
“April, I’m not getting anything.”
You tap on your coms a couple times, and she shakes her head. You’re both on a patrol with the boys. April had brought one hell of a theory about some smugglers. After collaborating with Vincent, it was clear that this organization needed to be shut down. While the boys were searching for the hardware, you were scoping some of the rooms for any other little knacks. Criminals rarely ever left their entire stash in one place.
At the beginning everything seemed fine. Turns out the adjacent building had just as much to do with your case. So the plan was to split up and cover more ground. Leo had already uncovered more than ten pounds of drugs in a barrel of the basement, and Donnie was on the second floor, running through the boxes of rifles. Vincent had already been patched in. She was gathering a swat team to roll in, but you’d lost communication.
Now you are worried. You can’t help the boys if they are in danger unless you’re in the room. Leaving April here alone is also out of the question.
“(Y/N), I think we have a bigger problem.”
That’s never good news.
You walk over to her direction. Her eyes are fixated on a smaller storage closet. When she opens it, the blinking red light makes your stomach drop. You barely have a chance to react, you hear an explosion from behind and you both flinch. There is no count down on the one that you’re seeing right in front of you. But another boom echoes, and it quickly becomes clear what’s going on. You both look at each other.
“They're built to go off consecutively.” You state in unison.
Being around April has made you more aware of criminal activities. Some tricks never changed. Caution is thrown to the wind, because you both go bolting for the staircase. From the sounds of it, that structure hasn’t been hit yet. But it’s only a matter of time. Luckily you’re only on the second floor. April darts down the stairs, and you’re not much far behind. When you get to the first floor, another blast goes off, this one much closer. Both your bodies are forced forward, and the staircase behind has completely crumbled. You both grunt. There’s soot and rubble and a crap ton of smoke. You can barely make out anything.
“April…APRIL!!” You scream.
“I’m okay!!”
You sigh, groaning at the piece of concrete that has your lower half wedged. The dust has yet to settle, but apparently the bomb has somewhat cleared the entrance. You can see flashing lights. April sees your predicament, and immediately bends to try and force the thick block off your waist. It’s useless. You direct your eyes at the brick to offer help, but you're weakened. The brick shakes, but doesn’t move. It looks like a slab from a pillar. You drop your head in defeat, sobbing softly.
“I can’t…I can’t move it..” Your voice is weak, and you can see the tears begin to well in April’s eyes, but she doesn’t stop trying.
“Don’t you dare give up! You think I’m gonna leave you here before I become a bridesmaid at your wedding. You’re crazy!”
She’s pushing with all her might, and you manage to let out a soft laugh at the fact that she manages to crack a joke under these conditions. When another explosion rings, you panic.
“A-April you have to go!!”
“I’m not leaving you here!!”
Why didn’t she see that it was useless.
Your vision finally clears, and the sight of the boys is what catches your attention. It takes them a brief moment for them to fully gauge the situation. Horror crosses their eyes.
“(Y/N)!!!”
It’s a scream from all four brothers. Your head turns slowly to April.
You’d often heard that when death was close, you were able to see a flash of all your memories. Maybe you were delirious, but you could have sworn that you’d actually seen it in those few seconds. Another explosion goes off, and your instinct seems to kick in. The boys are running in this very direction.
Everything goes by so slow.
It’s then that you seem to know what to do. There was no way they would make it in time, but there was no point in letting April die here with you. Your eyes move to her body, and she screams when she’s jerked back right before the structure above your head comes crashing down. A ball of fire follows, and April’s body crashes to the ground right outside the area. The boys are forced back from the residual shockwave. They land at different distances.
Some of the officers had braced, others were also tossed back.
For what feels like a few moments, there’s a distance ringing.
Leo stands to his feet slowly, eyes trained on the collapsed building in shock. Everyone is starting to gather their bearings. When they begin to put it together, the realization hits like a wave. April picks herself off the ground shakily, staring at the destroyed structure. Her reaction is delayed. But the moment the scene plays out in front of her, she presses her hands to her mouth. She cries, right there, and it’s like a domino effect. Mikey and Donnie’s eyes water, and Raph races forward.
“(Y/N)!!!!”
He’s screaming, but there’s no response. He begins grabbing and chugging large pieces of rubble out the way desperately.
They’d never thought it was possible. Perhaps they’d taken for granted that you’d always just been there. So the thought of you gone is nearly impossible to imagine.
That’s why this hurts so much.
Whether they accept it or not, this is the reality.
Eobard Thawne (Flash) Extra
Ten Years Later
“Where’s my wife!”
A very livid speedster rushed into Star Labs with a baby go bag on his shoulder and a cell phone in his right hand. Cisco laughed awkwardly just as Barry zoomed in.
“Whooo!!” Did you see what (Y/N) did she literally flip off that building, it was awesome!!”
Barry seemed excited until he saw a very pissed Eobard.
“Uhh, h-hey Eobard.”
“YOU HAVE MY PREGNANT WIFE JUMPING OFF BUILDINGS!!” he growled.
“I’m gonna finish what I started years ago.” He threatened. Barry hid behind Cisco just as you came running in.
“That was great!! Eight months pregnant and I still got it.” You put one hand under your belly, and the moment you saw him you smiled guilty.
“H-Hey sweetheart.”
“Don’t you hey sweetheart me! You’re supposed to be resting. I got a notification on my watch that your heart rate was elevated. I thought Eli was coming early but you're out playing superhero. Do you know how worried I was!” He continued to go on a rant. You weren’t sure if it was the sweetly concerned side or his whining voice but you were kind of getting turned on.
“I’m sorry honey, let me make it up to you.” You walked over with a little sway of your hips. Eobard swallowed, turning his head as he held his ground. His cheeks colored.
“No! I’m not falling for that again!”
You grin.
“You weren’t complaining last night.”
“You took advantage of me. “ He protested.
“How about we go home and I take advantage of you some more. “ His face got redder. Barry and Cisco took that as their cue to leave.
“We’ll be at jitters if you need us.” Cisco opened a breach and they both jumped through. Now that the room was cleared, you sent a smirk in Eobard’s direction.
“Wanna do it on the desk?”
“I swear pregnancy made you inhumanely horny.” You pout.
“It’s not my fault.”
You waddled to the chair and Eobard rushed to your side. He moved to place a hand on your back to support you, but you grabbed his wrist, spinning him around and planting him in the chair. He looked up at you in shock.
“Let’s make twins next.” You wink.
By this time his face was every shade of red.
“I don’t consent to mph-!!!”
You both had a very bright future ahead.
