VALENTINES
“Woah, thank you! Happy Valentine’s, too.” Kuroo smiles slyly when he sees the dark chocolate. “Did you know that dark chocolate is full of antioxidants and is meow-vellous for your heart? Best purr-esent ever.”
“And you’re also good for our hearts!” Bokuto grins. “Owl gladly be your Valentine!”
Kuroo chuckles. “Now meow, bro, we have to share ‘em, yanno? The two of us.”
“Oho? You’re gonna make me scOWL bro, i called dibs first.”
“Oya? Trying to out-pun me, Bo?” Kuroo grins. “Not that it matters, since I’m gonna block all this owl’s spikes at the match. Make sure you watch us okay?”
“Oya?” Bokuto grins back. “Let’s see you try!”
WHITE DAY
You’ve long gotten used to Kuroo and Bokuto’s rather sporty-related rituals. They go jogging in the morning before breakfast (regardless of the weather, no matter how much you tell them to be careful!), prepare some protein shakes to have over the day, and are generally just busybodies every day of the week, even on the days they’re supposed to be off of training.
So when you wake up at 8am to find your two boys still wrapped in the blanket around you, sandwiching you, you jolt upright. “Tetsu? Koutarou?” You’re sure they’d died or else had gotten sick–they would never miss their morning jog! You tap Bokuto on the shoulder and shake Kuroo hard to get them to wake.
“Mmm? Goodmorning~” Kuroo croons, voice deep from sleep. He tightens his hold around your waist and presses a kiss to your cheek. “What’s the rush?
Bokuto makes a noise of acknowledgement, but only nudges his nose to your arm, still half-asleep.
“You–you’re both still here? What’s wrong? What happened to your jogging?”
Kuroo grins. “We decided to spend the day with you instead~ We get to skip our afternoon training too. We didn’t want to get you something you might not want, so.”
Bokuto nods. “Best present, huh?”
The smile that makes its way to your face is wide and full of love. “Best White Day ever.”
