What’s the last book you read that stuck with you for a really long time? When I first picked up ALL OUR YESTERDAYS years ago, I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it as much as I did. This book has stayed with me ever since, and is one of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend it to any sci-fi lovers. Have you read it? • #allouryesterdays #cristinterrill #bookstagram #bookish #booknerd #bibliophile #yalit #yaliterature #yalovin #scifi
While our interview touches up Shakespeare, #Bridgerton, and #Batman, writer Cristin Terrill actually says the biggest influence on her young adult sci-fi space opera novel "The Stars Between Us" is Charles Dickins. 📖🪐💵💸💸💵💵
I received an advanced reader copy of The Stars Between Us from St. Martin’s Press, Wednesday Books via NetGalley, in return for my honest opinion. The Stars Between Us by Cristin Terrill is a story about love, family and self-discovery. Victoria “Vika” Hale works as a barmaid to help her family make ends meet, while living on a planet plagued by poverty. Growing up Vika had a benefactor who made provisions for Vika’s education, thus feeding Vika’s dream of someday living on another planet where her family wouldn’t have to struggle. When Vika’s mysterious benefactor dies, she’s surprised to learn that he was Rigel Chapin, the richest man in the universe, and that he has included her in his will- she just has to marry his son, Leo, or Leo will not inherit his father’s fortune. When Leo is killed in an explosion, the next heirs in line, Hal and Mira, invite Vika to come stay with them on Plutos, where she learns what life is like with money. Sky Foster, a tenant that lives in the same building as Vika’s family, works on Plutos as the personal assistant to Hal. Sky has been harboring unrequited feelings of love for Vika. When another explosion happens, Vika and Sky team up to uncover who is hunting the heirs to the Chapin fortune. This was an easy to read book with a great pace. The Stars Between Us is available today, August 2, 2022. Today is very special day for me, but this post is not about that. It is about reading comfort zones. About the lines we draw and then we cross. About the books that take us by surprise and swipe us off our feet. So let’s see, in no particular order: “Feed” is the only zombie-story I’ve ever read, because zombies are a no-no for me. But this story is about journalism and BLOGGING, so of course I loved it! “Cinder” is a retelling and for me this genre is a hit or a miss. To be honest, I liked this series better than the original stories. 🤫 Though I stay away from religious books, I do seem to like angel related paranormal books (angels turned bad or stories involving their offsprings are the ones I like the most). “Angelfall” was fun and exciting, I read it first back when it was selfpublished. Time travel sometimes is hard to digest or it lacks believability, but “All Our Yesterdays” was amazing and cute. “The Immortal Rules” is about vampires, and the only story in this genre I still think as enjoyable. (In fact, I LOVED it!! Had so much fun with it!) And “He+She” is such an amazing book! While I struggle to find NA books to really love, this one is the perfect hidden gem! Which one did your read? Or what lines did you cross for a particular book? #books #miragrant #marissameyer #susanee #cristinterrill #juliekagawa #michellewarren
"The truth is, the world is just a fucked up place sometimes." . Second times reading it and I still cried! Finn Abbott is such a precious little gem that need to be protected and too good to be in this heartbreaking book. . #allouryesterdays #cristinterrill (at Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey)

IM SO JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSS
TRUST ME. I HEAR YA. I really didn’t think there was any way I could have gone, but I decided to say “fuck it” and bought a ticket I couldn’t reeeeeally afford the day the extension went on sale. The show was AMAZEBALLS and I want to sit and think about it for DAYS and how it managed to craft such a compelling story out of biography and it’s also a story about stories WHICH IS MY FAVORITE TROPE, but LIN OH MY GOD. HE IS THE KINDEST MAN.

Jon Groff is in that show, no? Did you see him? I love him. I want to be a gay man so we can be together forever.
HE. WAS. SO GREAT. So great!!! He does This Thing where he comes onstage in all of his extravagant George III regalia and a smirk, and you instantly. LOVE. HIM. It’s BC/EFA season and they had him out in costume, offering photos for a $50 donation that night and I walked past him and was a little blinded by the adorable.
Neeeeew books! #bookhaul #thebodyelectric #bethrevis #allouryesterdays #cristinterrill
