This recipe for Crock Pot Shredded Beef makes beef that is tender and full of flavor. You can use it in tacos, on sandwiches, or over rice. The slow cooker does all the work of adding herbs and spices to the beef to make it taste great.
Ingredients: 3 lbs beef chuck roast. 1 onion, sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup beef broth. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions: Put the chuck roast of beef in the slow cooker. On top of the roast, put sliced onion and minced garlic. Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix well. Add the mix to the slow cooker with the roast. The beef should be soft enough to shred with a fork after 8 to 10 hours on low heat or 4 to 6 hours on high heat. Take the beef out of the slow cooker when it's done cooking and shred it with two forks. Put the beef shreds back into the slow cooker and mix them with the cooking liquid. If you want, you can put the shredded beef on tacos, sandwiches, or rice.
