[▲] - prototype of the vr.recorder in hand, nejiki scaled yet another set of stairs and almost tripped over shoes that were a size too big- his mother assured that he would grow into them. somehow, he was doubtful. annoying footwear aside, the young boy took in the hallway and shook his head at the lack of useful name plates. which room was he supposed to go in?
this humble town could barely keep its crumbling statue together and here stomped in, an organization that proclaimed itself to be an energy company, and erected a futuristic building.
not that he cared. he only wanted to see his grandfather and boast about his first invention!
the thought brought a spring to his step, only to quickly die at the sight of, not a balding head, but two pointed blue hair in a dimply lit office. his nose flared with annoyance but kept it together as he stepped closer inside.
he almost mistook the other to be another grunt but the way the blue haired boy held himself was one who was confident in his position, the straightened back of one who is ready to bark orders if necessary. ah, perhaps he could help.
⯈ “ hmm, pardon me. i seem to be lost. oh, and I assure you I’m a visitor.” ⯇ he quickly held up a lanyard with a note attached. hastily scribbled on was, ‘visitor. permission commander charon’, and though it looked ridiculous it was authentic- it was as if this organization never considered having outsider.
