The border is now on and it's ready for the backing. We brought it to our Home Group so we could have someone to help hold it up. They had to stand on chairs. Our friend Sharon, who stood in front for size reference, is 5' 2". This is a large queen size. Next week the fleece backing!

Ok, I now have all 5 Panel Pieces put together! All corner colors match ups and all seams match up! (I had to adjust 2 panels because they didn't match at first try) The final measurements are: 91" across the top and bottom 96" down the left side 95 1/2" down the right side I've measured several times and get a different number each time so I'm not sure what is accurate!

While looking at the picture I notice a mistake I made on the last 2 rows (2 blocks in the center of the rows are switched). To fix it I would need to rip out half the panel, remove that column, remake it, reattach it then reattach the panel. Every seam has fancy stitch work so it's more than just removing a straight seam. Do I try to fix it? (this quilt is for my sister-in-law)

I still have to put on the final border and then the backing.

This was a Quilt-as-you-Go Quilt so I created 5 seperate panels: Center, Top, Bottom and Sides then quilted those panels with a fleece batting.

Added a label to the Quilt I made for my Sister-in-Law. Not the cleanest looking finish but it's on the back so will only been seen if you flip the quilt over. I made the label using an Ink Jet Printer and a Fabric Sheet.

I did not fold over the edges of the label because I didn't cut it large enough. I used Basting Spray to hold it in place then used the Invisible Thread and the smallest needle I had. I tried to do the smallest Blind Stitches I could do but all my needle holes show.

I am choosing to pretend it's a very small lace edging.

She may not like the label but again it will be on the back and hidden.

Trying to work out this pattern to be able to share but so far I am having trouble with the length. Right now it's 17 pages. Is that too long? I see most other patterns are 5 pages or less.

1930s Flour Sack Prints Doll Quilt Cross Pattern 23" x 18"

Vintage circa 1930s doll quilt handmade with a cross pattern. Flour sack cotton print florals dominate the front. Dainty yellow & white print on the reverse. Very good vintage condition with just 1 tiny dot of a stain mostly seen on reverse side (see pic #6). Measures 23 x 18
