Hello, my name is Morgan and I'm in a bit of a pickle.
You see, when I was a kid, I had a bit of a traumatic birth and the end result of the traumatic labor, resulted in me contracting a case of bilateral Retinoblastoma.
The end result tore the retina to my right eye and left me primarily blind in that eye for the rest of my life. Now, as a result... radiation treatments in turn sparked cataracts in my only remaining usable eye, and it's rapidly destroying my eyesight.
I'm no longer able to see enough to write my name on a line for job applications let alone for reding and writing, or driving for that matter.
Now this is thankfully repairable, but even still, I ave to undergo surgery... but yet another obstacle is the fact that I have an Astigmatism.
Because of this, I have to go for a Specialty Lens but it alone costs $1,425.00 dollars. Between my own personal expenses, bills, and the like... I cannot afford this and I am rather rapidly losing my vision due to the fact that I am required to take weekly Steroidal injections, as the Steroids accelarate the speed of the cataract's growth.
Now, I'm not expecting much but, any and all help would more than save my skin here. I'm only 21 and rapidly going blind, and I've got very few options, Insurance won't cover this lens and it's really my only option.
